Grand Hotel Valies is a quaint and clean hotel in Roermond. Close to the vibrant Roermond shopping center. We always take our special “kid” in our travels and she seems to enjoy the room. Staff were courteous and friendly. Furnitures were new and the room was spotless. Although the bed was not as comfortable as I would like. Still a good hotel to stay when you are in town.

We stayed in the Directors room one of the largest and it was absolutely unbelievable extra spacious and finished with incredible attention to detail. The hotel location is good, if you're coming to Roermond by train it's just opposite to the station, if by car, the hotel is actually in the pedestrian area and the parking is behind the rail station (sounds complicated) but the staff will explain it (free parking). We had a wonderful weekend. The hotel is close to the city center, and the dinner and breakfast were delicious. The amenities, such as the swimming pool, sauna, and fitness center, are all there. A jacuzzi in the room is what my 6-year-old daughter calls it. The next time we're in Roermond, we'll definitely book here again.

It is a large hotel in Roermond, with a small balcony for smoking. The surrounding area is very quiet, the parking lot is opposite, and it is very convenient to get in and out. It is not far from the shopping village.

Overall it was a good stay, right next to the station, you have to walk about 15-20 minutes to get to the outlet, city tax is 5 euros per person

A wonderful stay at the smallest castle in the Netherlands. The historic ambiance combined with modern comfort is exceptional. We had a pleasant stay. Bed was just fitting for the three of us! A bathtub! My boy really loved it. Basic amenities were available however, no fridge. So better be prepared with jar baby food.

Close to Venlo Check in was cumbersome due to sudden heavy rain showers. Room in the new building was a complete flat, nice. But the cleaning of the room was in question. We found a tissue in the bed and paper on the floor.... The shower cream container in the shower was empty! The table cloth had chocolate traces from previous use. I spent comfortable time with my children at a charming apartment. We enjoyed a pizza and pasta from nearby Italian restaurant. The staff is very friendly. I realized after check-out that I left my own house key in the room and she kindly sent it to my home. There are several places for family easily accessible by car such as Irrland.

We stayed here overnight during a trip from Germany to the UK, and we cannot recommend it enough. The place was lovely, the owner prepared us a lovely breakfast in advance as we were leaving early, and generally she went above and beyond to help us out. Fantastic place, cannot recommend highly enough.
