Great as always. Room is spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Bathroom and shower great. Food excellent and staff always helpful and friendly.

Good stay but staff need to be more service oriented with guests

We had a wonderful weekend. The hotel is close to the city center, and the dinner and breakfast were delicious. The amenities, such as the swimming pool, sauna, and fitness center, are all there. A jacuzzi in the room is what my 6-year-old daughter calls it. The next time we're in Roermond, we'll definitely book here again.

It is a large hotel in Roermond, with a small balcony for smoking. The surrounding area is very quiet, the parking lot is opposite, and it is very convenient to get in and out. It is not far from the shopping village.

We stayed in the Directors room one of the largest and it was absolutely unbelievable extra spacious and finished with incredible attention to detail. The staff truly went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and special. We enjoyed a 5 course dinner with 6 people easily worthy of at least a Michelin star. Very expensive breakfast, not worth the money. On Sunday evening resto is closed? Cold room. Heating was Insufficient

Room 3/5: I was room 9 Rooms on the ground floor or facing the car park, the sound insulation is very poor. There is also too much light in the morning, as you can see in the picture taken at 7:30am. The curtains are not effective. Personal very polite and professional !!! Very good breakfast !

A truly beautiful hotel with an exclusive setting. Spacious rooms, and it's very peaceful in the heart of the city. There was no room in the restaurant, but next time we'll make a reservation for the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious. Excellent!

I totally agree with the majority of the reviews. The Hotel is very beautiful with an excellent location to explore the surroundings on foot. All the staff were professional and kind. The private parking is very useful. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you all so much. I recommend it.

Excellent location. Beautiful hotel and nice big rooms. Good service and friendly staff. Rooms have spacious bathrooms. We enjoyed it very much. Really recommended. We will definitely come back in the future. Ideal for a few days in Roermond. Everything is within walking distance, bars, restaurants and shops. Outlet is also within walking distance.

Grand Hotel Valies is a quaint and clean hotel in Roermond. Close to the vibrant Roermond shopping center. We always take our special “kid” in our travels and she seems to enjoy the room. Staff were courteous and friendly. Furnitures were new and the room was spotless. Although the bed was not as comfortable as I would like. Still a good hotel to stay when you are in town.

Nice option overall, but the service and breakfast need improvement. The €25 breakfast was not worth it — there was little variety and the quality of the available food was low average. It was especially disappointing when trying to enjoy the sunny weather on the terrace, only to have people sitting next to us smoking at 9am. I would strongly suggest making the terrace non-smoking to improve the experience

Magnificent room very comfortable, the climatisation is great, shower is absolutely spacious and refined, everything was enjoyable, and the breakfast was awesome and silent

2025 price, 1925 facility and service. With the price, I got just a room and breakfast, but nothing else such as cleanness or amenities. The staff has kindly reminded me of the Dutch way, i.e., everything coming with a separate price tag. But paradoxically, the bed and duvet appear to have been designed with a bias against the high-altitude people. An ideal hotel for the fully self-sufficient travelers

We traveled by train, and the hotel is conveniently located right next to the station. It was great that we could store our luggage in a locker upon arrival. Then we could explore the city and check in later. We ate twice in the restaurant; it was delicious! The breakfast was also excellent; a bit of everything. Great hotel, good distance to Designer outlet. Our staff had to provide coffee service in front of the Tommy Outlet Store. We stayed for 7 nights. Recommended.

The price/performance ratio is very high. The hotel has the characteristics of a typical European town. There are not many rooms, but the rooms are large, the bathroom is very comfortable, and the bathrooms are designed as separate rooms. The scenery of the town is particularly beautiful.

Guess, it's how much you are willing to pay. I always believed first impressions is given during check-in. An area to improve perhaps? Friendly front desk staff is always appreciated. The hotel location is good, if you're coming to Roermond by train it's just opposite to the station, if by car, the hotel is actually in the pedestrian area and the parking is behind the rail station (sounds complicated) but the staff will explain it (free parking). The room had no view so it wasn't nice sitting in the room but it's clean, and no fridge.. the staff were nice and breakfast was average...

A wonderful stay at the smallest castle in the Netherlands. The historic ambiance combined with modern comfort is exceptional. A special highlight was meeting the resident pig in the garden, such a unique and charming touch. The tranquility and personal service made it a very memorable experience. Highly recommended.

We stayed 2 nights and had dinner once. Beautiful garden setting, spacious rooms, shower over bath not my preference but ok. Dinner was superb despite slow to come. Breakfast also excellent. Prices about what you would expect for premium accommodation.

Beautiful place! Dinner here was sublime. The food, service and location were all impressive. Prices were extremely reasonable too.

The hotel is lovely. Rooms have plenty of space and a nice atmosphere. The restaurant is unique. Every dish we ordered was spectacular. The staff is also very nice and helpful. It's located in a very nice and green area, and there are different cute animals.

This restaurant has amazed me with its diverse menu of food, drinks and cocktails. I have ordered the 4-course menu and it was super delicious, with a lot of local ingredients and still surprising taste combinations. Also the animals are welcome and the staff is very friendly. We had a good laugh and an amazing Birthday dinner. Thanks a lot!
