We arrived after 450 klm drive.
And found a park place ,
Our border Collie had a walk about.
then to reception,
Very friendly greeting from well trained personnel.
Our room was stranded quality .
Clean with all you would need for a short stay.
Even a little food to make the dog feel at home.
The bathroom clean with all you need (super showers).
Unfortunately the restaurant was booked out so we ordered out the house, deliverd in 15 mins.
Lots of dogs on lines in and out of the Hotel
With a lot of area to walk your dog lovely lake and BBQ ares.
A super beer garten .
......
Most of the personal speak English and German.
There is free internet.
And 3 conference rooms .
A swimming pool
Table tennis. Library.
The restaurant is split as no dogs have access to the main restaurant, there is a cafe were
Breakfast (till 11.oo) dogs are wellcome there.
We enjoyed our stay .and if we are ever in this part of the world again We will be returning.

I came late but still service was perfect, nice and helpful :) rooms and bathrooms big, nice and clean. I’ll definitely will stay there again if I’ll be nearby. Thanks and have a great day !

We stayed for one night while travelling and arrived late 2am, but were still able to check in. The hotel is set in a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful location.
We booked a family room, which was a good size and worked well for us, the kids especially loved it. The pool was a great bonus and kept them entertained in the morning before we got back on the road. Overall, nice tidy little stopover and we would definitely stay again.

Cons:
The minibar in our room was not working. There was also a noticeable cold draft under the loft window where the sofa bed was located, which made that area uncomfortable during the night. Breakfast was very expensive, €60 for two adults and two children (aged 1 and 5), which felt excessive.

I don't want to give 5 stars because I came back to my room late. I went to the restaurant. Even though I shouted dozens of times, no one came to look. So I went into the kitchen. The staff who saw me in the kitchen kicked me out of the restaurant. I was just hungry and thirsty. I wanted to eat something before going to sleep. But I will never forget the disrespectful attitude I encountered.

My partner and I have holidays in Venlo 2 or 3 times a year and often stay for 4 - 5 days. In April 2025 the hotel was good and we had am enjoyable stay hence why we returned in August 2025. On this occasion my parents decided to come with us. They were also very disappointed. We were charged 36 euros per room for City Tax, I felt this was very expensive. When we arrived we found the lift not to be out of order but not fully functional. My Father struggled up the stairs. To make matters worse we found that on our departure the lift was out of order completely. The fact our Mini-Bar/Fridge wasn't working was very disappointing considering it was working in April. Not being able to watch TV was also disappointing, and the room could've done with Air-Con. We ate in the restaurant in April but on this occasion the menu had changed and didn't appeal to us. On the strength of all of this it is highly unlikely we'd ever return.

A wonderful place to stay, with very helpful and friendly staff. A short unplanned stop, luckily they had two rooms left for myself and my colleague. They breakfast was great and the view from the restaurant was magnificent.
