This hotel recently underwent a major renovation, featuring a completely new 12-story tower with rooms. At the time of writing, work is still ongoing, and some areas (such as the parking lot) will be completed by the end of 2021. However, this hotel offers modern accommodations for both short- and long-term stays at all price points. Electric vehicles are welcome, with a wide range of charging stations available. Highly recommended.

A very good hotel. Highly recommended. The staff is very friendly, and everything is explained beautifully. They regularly ask how you are and if everything is to your liking. We had a suite, a beautiful, spacious room with a nice, large sofa. Various mood lamps in the room. Two TVs, a good radio. A perfect chair for a desk. A separate toilet and toilet in the bathroom. The bamboo door frames are nice, so there is no plastic. The breakfast is very generous, with a large selection of meat, cheese, fish, hot spreads, salads, delicious appetizers, and various smoothies. This is truly the best breakfast compared to other hotels in Valk.

VAN DER VALK HOTEL VENLO SUPERIOR PLUS ROOM WITH BATH. We stayed at the renovated Van der Valk Hotel Venlo in June 2021. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the Toverland theme park, which is highly recommended! The hotel is easy to reach and find by car. You can pull off the road and be there in no time. The hotel offers free parking, and there is plenty of space. The hotel will soon look very neat, both outside and inside; we are currently working hard on renovations. The staff were attentive and explained everything clearly. Despite coronavirus regulations, the breakfast was well organized and extensive. It was also very nice that you have your own tongs for breakfast, so you don't have to touch anything else. Pros: -Clean room and bathroom -Large bed and solid flooring -Spacious room -Bathroom with rain shower and separate bathtub -A/C works well -WC separate from bathroom -Large flat screen TV -Trash can in room and bathroom -Night lights next to bed -Motion detector for toilet and hallway lights Points to improve: -Bathroom has a roller blind that you have to roll up yourself. Not very useful -Spotlight on our balcony doesn't work Overall, we slept/ate well and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The value for money in this hotel is very good. The style of the rooms is not to our taste but it looks neat. Our compliments to van der Valk Venlo, it is a nice hotel (in its infancy) with neat rooms. I would give the hotel a 9 out of 10.

Shame I didn’t get to spend more time at the hotel as it was lovely, the food was delicious and the whole places was just so clean and everybody was friendly.

Te hotel is very well finished, and the staff are very nice. It is a great hotel for staying solo. The only problem i have is with the check-in. Other hotels are making it as easy and as quick as possible for people to check in - here you have to sign in on a tablet and you are asked for far too much information, including address and DOB. They also look at your ID, which I understand. I would like to know what they need all the personal information for and what happens to it after you leave?

Nice place very good to stay

Nice clean hotel. The staff was very nice.
The building is new so thats a plus!
Room was very spacious and clean.
The bed was very good!
The breakfast was good and you had a lot of options. .
Only thing is that the air conditioning did not work like it is supposed to and while taking a shower, the water gets very hot ever 2/3minutes. Other than that no complaints.

The new tower is good and restaurant is also very good. Very nice staff.
