Very comfy beds, excellent bathtub and beautiful open space. I feel the open space would be better utilised with a sofa than two chairs. Also the two halves of the bed separated very very easily, which is an incovenience in a room specced for romance. Maybe attach them together?

The only negative aspect of the experience was the attitude of some people at the bar during the party. I hope this doesn’t happen again, because the food and the service are really good. It would be advisable to better control this type of situation.

Also "Art Hotel Harlingen". Location good, Parking in front of the hotel and free until 09.00 hrs in the morning. Parking may be a problem in the high season. Heating in room defect. Service good but somewhat understaffed which lead to waiting times during check in.

Very reasonably priced for 2 nights. Due to rail delays we were very late for our arrival and the owner Was nothing but helpful. He was waiting very early in the morning. Extremely friendly and Helpful.

The hotel was a very nice, unique little boutique hotel. Perfectly situated in the heart of the centre 100m from the harbour. The owner was very accommodating and we felt safe with the corona measures that were in place.

The owner really put a personal touch to the place and we felt very welcome. Free tea and coffee and use of the utilities for eating. Lovely outside terrace.

The room was immaculate with Smart TV, huge shower and lovely high end finish. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We took a day trip to Terschilling and a day walking around Harlingen with some great tips from the owner.

All in all a great stay. We will be back.

Great hotel with a good location and amazing breakfast, everthing works perfect, for sunday you can park your car in front of the hotel without anyproblem but unfortunately they have no parking place. The decoration of the room is so minimalist and cool.

The rates are really reasonable.
The breakfast is nice and has coffee tea and fresh bread.
The room was clean and had great beds. We slept really well.
There are many quirky features in the rooms and the choice of furniture was a change compared to many of the places we stay.
We have two improvement points that would have made it a 4 star rating.
- There is nothing in the room to make a cup of coffee or tea.
- We arrived late and we had no idea of how to check in. There was no note pointing us to a restaurant two doors down (De Lachende Koe)
We had the bad luck the front door was open as otherwise we would have used the door bell and they would have come.

Bad rooms for a three star hotel. The rooms just provide a clean basic sleeping place. But it feels like a dormitory. Because of corona officially no food was served in the restaurant. But some guests could sit in the salon while others were denied. And they pretended no such thing could happen. Weird policy. Our room had no view at all, except for an alley.
