great little hotel right next to museumplein! The staff are very accommodating and nice. The hotel is right between two tram stops but its in such a safe neighborhood we never felt apprehensive about walking the street at night. Hotel Bellington is surrounded by all the luxury brands, making it feel safe and cozy. Little caveat: the stairs in this hotel are steep. We had a party of 4 on the 3rd floor and it was a struggle each time going up the steep stairs. Please reconsider if you have an mobility issues. Otherwise, I highly recommend this quaint little hotel. I have returned here many times over the last 2 decades and have never been disappointed

I stayed for four nights in total, and it was the perfect compromise of a short getaway in Amsterdam. The location was absolutely perfect, the check-in was easy and quick and the rooms were clean and had everything one can need. They also cleaned them regularly and the staff was always really nice. I gave four stars only because the shared bathroom was really small, and the shower a little impractical because all the floor got too wet to dry your feet properly. But besides that, it was a really nice experience.

The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep after a long day of exploring the city. I particularly loved the modern amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, a large flat-screen TV, and a coffee maker that was perfect for starting the day.

Room was better than it looked in the pictures online so this was a bonus. Nice good location close to lots of shops, restaurants etc.
Room was spacious and clean for the most part, there is no aircon and only fans so the room got quite warm.
Slept on top of the blankets the first 3 nights of my stay but on the 4th night it was cold so slept under the blankets and woke up with over 10 bites on my legs so I believe I was bitten by bed bugs, so if you stay here check the bed first.

Great staff who went above and beyond, excellent location. Fridge in the room worked great, clean towels everyday and lovely shower. Highly recommend!

The hotel is quite basic, but sufficient for a week break for the two of us. The location is aboslutely fantastic, being just a few minutes walk from Museumplein and incredibly convenient. Close to Jordaan and Vondelpark as well. Keep realistic expectations of the room you're going to get for the price, but it was clean, and well kept.

This spot is clean and managed well. It is in a great location. I read through some of the bad reviews and, from what the complaints were, these people obviously did not do any research before booking. Bathroom and shower are shared amenities. They are kept clean and we did not have any issues with these. The stairs are steep, but no steeper then every other Dutch building we visited during our stay. The room we stayed in on the top floor was a bit hot the first day since the temps were high and the shade for the window was broken so it would not stay closed to help keep the sun out. This is my reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. The fire escape door was left open which helped to cool the top floor and give air circulation. I also loved going out there to watch the birds in the morning. Overall, for a budget option, I would definitely stay here again.

I wouldn't call this a hotel. I had a room without private bathroom. My room was on the third floor after a set of steep stairs and I had to share a bathroom which was located on the floor below. The room was too warm as there was not enough ventilation. There was only one window that could be slightly opened and its jalousie didn't stay in place, so all the sunlight was coming in.
Location and cleaning were good though.
Completely overpriced in my opinion.

You pay for what you get here, it’s cheap and short walk to the tourist parts. The stairs are really narrow and very steep... far from advisable after some Amsterdam’s finest!! Could do with a refurb. Breakfast was not bad at all!!
