It's a little far from the city center, so it was quiet.
I imagine that if there had been people or cars making noise outside, I would have heard it quite a bit, but that wasn't the case during my stay, so it was very comfortable.
The staff were also kind. I was told that a hotel tax receipt would be sent by email, but it never arrived.
All in all 100% recommend for staying in Groningen!
