Had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is perfect - not far from Den Haag-Centraal station and with lots of restaurants and the Mauritshuis museum close by. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast was fresh and with a good selection of pastries and local cheeses.

Great location in the middle of Haag, friendly staff and nice rooms. At hotel at this level you might expect real glass in the bathroom, and not paperglass. Apart from that hotel was exellent.

A no-brainer Stylish hotel. Excellent location and close to tram stops. Only two stops and five minutes to railway station. Restaurant quite pricey but lots of good (and bad) restaurants close by. Will be coming again.

Location good but budget option Excellent location with friendly staff. Our room at the front was noisy especially the trams. Breakfast had limited choice and only adequate. The fabric was tired, lift call button sticking, emergency phone a handset with dial(!), stair carpet stained etc. room very large and clean but empty fridge, soap etc limited and no brand quality. Beautiful location in the heart of town. Excellent service and amenities for years. However, now there's a lot of noise from a café below our window. It's very noisy; we could literally hear the crowds going out. They were having drinks under tents, and the music was a bit loud. Thursday night until 2 a.m. and Friday night until 4 a.m. Not great. Hopefully, something will be done about this.

The room was spacious, very comfortable and clean.

Large open room, comfortable bed, and nice shower. Attentive staff. Dining area available during the day for coffee or light snacks, and lunch. Maybe 5-10 min walk to the train station for easy day trips, like to Delft or Den Haag. Several good cafes & restaurants nearby. Enjoyed the stay and visit to Leiden.

Fabulous place to spend a night or nights in Leiden. Super friendly staff and eager to help. Conveniently located near multiple restaurants and cafes, and idyllic setting. Highly recommended

This was the perfect hotel for our several days in Leiden. It was quiet yet close to everywhere we wanted to visit. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Anna could not have been more helpful. We'll be back!

Everything was amazing about our stay here. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and pleasant. The location is ideal and it was completely silent in our room. Some of the reviews mention noise but we had absolutely no issues with that. We even had access to a lovely balcony from our room with an awesome view of the university next door. Very Nice experience at steenhof suites! We were welcomed incredibly friendly, the room we stayed in was very fancy and pretty and in less than 5 minutes we were in the beautiful City centre. We will be Coming back for sure! 😊 Note: Since It is an Old Building one has to be Aware that you might hear your neighbors from upstairs.

This is a great place. The room was huge and very comfortable. The location is ideal - right on a beautiful canal in the center of the city. The owner was very helpful. She and one of her staff helped us with our luggage over the steep staircase. So that was not a problem for us.

What a great little spot. My room was spacious, the welcome warm (the receptionist gave me all the ins and outs is the city. Including some personal restaurant tips. The hotel is right of Chinatown. And walking distance to the city center. My room also opened up to a little courtyard! A great spot for a morning coffee. Bonus! I even got walked up to my room! Fantastic old school hospitality!

Great hotel! Stayed there with a friend for one night. The hotel staff is very friendly. Our room was clean and well equipped. Location is amazing. We went to the beach via tram and it only took around 20 minutes. The station is right in front of the hotel. Definitely would stay here again

My room was very comfortable and my bed tucked under the eaves was like something from a children's story.

Fabulous boutique hotel in an excellent location near several good restaurants and Pieterskerk. Excellent breakfasts are offered in the hotel restaurant. Hotel room had everything one needs- small fridge with wine and water, nespresso coffee machine, excellent shower and comfortable bed. Easily walkable from Leiden Central.

First this room has a fabulous shower and quaint old style room in a small terraced house in a very old quaint part of town. Im not sure why this is called a hotel, its really just a room in a very old house (17th century i believe). There is no reception, no lounge, bar etc as in a normal 'hotel' and you have to go outside into a different building if you want the 'hotel' breakfast. So you may...
