I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would happily recommend to anyone looking for a beach getaway. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the beach, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

I arrived in hotel 2pm my room is not ready its ok normal 3pm is the check in time. So walk around and have drinks in the restaurant with my daughter the restaurant is quite but first i order the drinks it takes 15 mins or more and the pancake i order it takes also 25 mins.  I started to feel the service is poor. I go back to the ballie i get my room card but the explanation is poor. The worst of this...

With a last minute decision to visit Rotterdam with my son, we chanced upon Art Hotel. Modestly priced and right next to Maashaven, it took less than 10 minutes to reach from Rotterdam Centraal. Even we arrived late after 10pm, there was nothing to worry about as the hotel is right next to the Metro station and brightly lit! Very weird staff behaviour, ive stayed more than 3 times in this hotel. Never answering the concerns, as a frequent traveller tried to modify stay date staff didnt accept the request, nice approvals with not feedback. Early morning, cleaning staf will start throwing brackets and mops in the hallway to make sure you wake up early

Loved staying here over Christmas. Stayed on the 7th floor and the view was amazing. The staff were all really polite and helpful, special shout out to Cher (I hope that's the correct spelling) who checked us in.

1. Location is top notch. Just beside metro station and well connected 2. Service and security is also very good and commendable 3. The reason for a 4 star rating is the breakfast. Though i should tell you that it is no less , but the somehow i felt the options were a bit limited. I mean with other chains of of calibre, i have had better breakfast options . We had the best dining experience thanks to Florencia! She gave amazing wine and dessert recommendations, was super attentive, sweet, and made us feel truly taken care of. The hotel is good location. However does not meet normal Marriott standards. Feels like a cheap two star hotels. The bed is ok but infrastructure is old. During the stay, it is strong wind outside and all the windows are shaking creating noise all night … only recommend to stay if weather is good or you need to be next to station.

Won’t pick this hotel anymore, running out of slipper and dental kit. The cups are dirty , only the housekeeping supervisor is nice and kind and wishes to change the bin for us on the next day.

An OK hotel I visit often on business travel. Restaurant for dinner is surprisingly good and the staff there are also polite and mostly attentive. Breakfast is mediocre with something that pretends to be scrambled eggs but most probably came from powder in a bag. Some of the rooms are in bad need of renovation. The air in the rooms is quite dusty as I guess the carpets haven't been properly cleaned...

Nice hotel. Unfortunately for me the pace in which the staff run around the bar even when not busy shows a lack of experience and ruins a relaxed environment. The young bar manager seems to have his staff on edge. Not a pleasant bar to sit at even with low traffic.

I am so satisfied with my New Year stay that I found all the "Van der Vlak" hotels in Europe for my future trips.

If you're ever staying in Rotterdam and have a car to get around Holland, this place is perfect. Family friendly, quiet, beside the zoo and lots of parking. Food was great, rooms are super clean and would stay again. We were visiting family all over Holland and this place looked good enough. It was better than expected.

I visited the Leonardo Hotel with my 10-year old daughter for two nights and we loved it. The people are very friends and helpful. We had a very nice room with a view over the city and a bath. The breakfast was good with lots of choices. And it’s nice that there is a swimming pool. Tram 1 stops directly at the hotel, so it’s easy to go to the city center or to Scheveningen.

Before anything i'd like to say that the real highlight was the absolutely amazing staff - from helping us with our reservation, to the attention and care we received during our stay... the staff were phonomenal. I liked that there is a very large selection in the breakfast room and that the overall design of the hotel is very good. What I did not like was the very long waiting time at the reception. What is completely unacceptable, however, is the cleanliness of the room, especially the bathroom. I booked this for a friend who's going on a business trip. The location was conveniently close to their destination, the service was good, and the facilities were okay.

I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast and the location, very close to the beach and services. The room was dated and the TV need an upgrade for sure. It looks a bit old from the outside BUT the inside is really modern. Near the beach and a parking. Rituals products in the shower/bathroom. We had a balcony. The room was clean. The bed was wonderful. Great coffee machine! We enjoyed the sauna and the swimming pool. Great little spa experience. One negative point... kids with floaties and balls came to the spa area. Rooms and bathroom are very clean, my room was a bit small but okay for two nights. Good bed and pillow. Breakfast is standard (eggs, bacon, cereals, bread etc) but quality of breakfast is below average. Good restaurant opportunities in the area. Car parking can only be booked on site and if available. First the good: We stayed here in January and were very happy with our room at the back of the hotel. It was quiet and overall we had a great stay. Beds are very comfortable. Good hotel, right in the city center, with a parking garage less than 5 minutes away. For a deluxe room, which we had, I expected more space, more storage, and definitely a mini-fridge (a major drawback). There was no bath, but a walk-in shower, and coffee and tea were also available. Ideal location right in city centre

This is a super hotel to stay at. In the city centre, a walk from all the shops and a short taxi ride from central station. It is also well maintained with clean and neat decor and helpful, polite staff. I thought 18 euro for breakfast was expensive but Starbucks is 5 mins away so we went there instead.

In room details, it states there is a minibar, in fact, there is none. We asked the reception for the missing minibar, it seems that only suite room has one. Overal stay is good.

The location is very good, very close to the city center and just a few minutes from Chinatown. The only drawback is the carpet in the room, which had visible stains, and a few moldy spots on the silicone in the bathtub.

Clean hotel in a central and convenient location (a few minutes walk to a tram and bus stop). The reception smells good and the staffs are nice. Our room looks a bit outdated though we got one with a tub. However, it felt unsafe to use as it gets slippery when wet. It’s safer to add an anti-slip surface. Hope the hotel considers that. Regardless, this is a highly recommended hotel.

A very beautiful hotel! The location is fantastic! The front desk and doorman services were also excellent! The only downside was that the room wasn't cleaned perfectly on the third day, but otherwise it was impeccable. It would be my first choice again if I ever came to The Hague!

I have stayed here before when I was in Europe and was amazed to receive the same level of service. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Not the best night’s stay The room was stuffy and there was no air conditioning. The shower was very disappointing - the water that came out of the shower-head more like a dribble! The pillows were lumpy and not very comfortable. Sadly we didn’t spend a very good night at the Tulip Inn.

It is my 4th or 5th stay at this hotel. It is good and practical to explore Leiden and get to Schiphol airport. Rooms are big enough for two persons. This time we stayed on the 11th floor. It is more cumbersome to get there as you have to change elevators, but the room was more spacious. The newly renovated reception looks good.

For the 4 nights I stayed, they didn't make up my room before the last night.

Very nice hotel, conveniently located, historic on the outside and modern on the inside. Clean rooms, rich breakfast. Definitely a good choice. A fifteen minute walk from the Centraal station but also close to a tram line. The hotel is built inside 'The Passage ' shopping area and is a lovely hotel. We had an excellent room and Bas on check in really looked after us and our room was ready early. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent and the bar had local beers and also a good range of European wine and other beverages....

We came for a weekend stay with family and got a free upgrade to executive suit. The hotel welcomed us with a cosy atmosphere, play area for kids and a breakfast with exactly the right balance of choice, quality and taste. The hotel is in an excellent location in the city centre, near tram and at a historical shopping passage.

Close to center of town and freeway access. Parking is a problem: restricted access to parking lot and garage is expensive. Our room had a very small bathroom with clumsy access to the shower.
