The hotel has access to the nearby Ocean Spa with is free fitness entry and only 5$ per person to the pools. People are friendly and helpful. Thank you for the facilities on our reservations.

Hotel is just a stone throw from Napier beach. There are nice restaurants within walking distance from the hotel too :)

A bed lamp did mot work and bathroom was not clean. Overall, I was disappointed to stay here. I suggest hotel to check detail matters before check-in. By the way, Swimming pool was good and we enjoyed. I though hotel to add pool fee on accommodation fee and let guest use it free of charge. $10 per person is cheap and reasonable to use but free or with charge is different matter to guest.

Loved the view and sound of the waves at night

We were given level 2 and were told no more rooms on the higher floor. A bit disappointed as we can only see the roads no seaview. The buffet breakfast spread is nice.

Nice hotel in central Napier, right next to the black stone beach. Very friendly staff. Room a bit dark. Loved the restored Art deco furniture and design.

The room was lovely clean and spacious. Great to be able to use the balconies in the mornings and evenings. Our room was cleaned on our first day but not on our second day which was a little disappointing.

Comfortable, excellent stay ,close to the beach and safe swimming with surf lifesavers right there where you swim ,flat water edge! Plenty of top cafes and restaurants and fish & chips, the fish an chips from the Dutchman takeaways was the best I've had in a long time !! Great location however make sure to ask at reception for wifi before they close otherwise you cannot access it, I also booked ground level and got there and they put me on the top floor where there was some sort of knocking sound that kept waking me. So not entirely great..

Pebble Beach Motor Inn is a good stay for a short vacation. There is ample parking. The waterfront is just across the road. The room we had was spacious, equipped with a kitchenette, fridge and even a spa. Toiletries although very basic are adequate. The bathroom was also spacious.

Loved the balcony view from the top level. Room was clean but bulb missing next to spa, bulb cover missing in toilet and tv channels are out of sequence which was annoying. Location handy for city centre. I would stay againbut please fix the obvious things.

Firstly, the property is located close to the supermarkets, shops, and restaurants. Secondly, it's within walking distance of the beach. Also, there are 2 EV chargers nearby for your EV too.

We had to change rooms due to a very loud vibrating bathroom fan and the very intense cleaning material smell. So we called reception and their super sweet and helpful staff member came out atn10pm to find us another room. Which was super nice, quiet and no smells! We like to thank you guys again for being so extra helpful and attentive. Mattresses were excellent, rooms spotless!

The location was just over the road from my conference venue, and the bed was comfortable. However there were some down sides: the bathroom shower head was quite caked with limescale - which did not inspire confidence that the rest of the rooms were also clean. The extractor unit in the bathroom could not be turned off and was generating a low thrum all night. Also the hotel has no laundry facilities...

I had a fantastic stay at Expressotel. The location is perfect for exploring the city centre, with everything just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly & welcoming. The room was a great size - tidy, clean & very quiet. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

We stayed at Napier Beach Top 10 Holiday Park as we needed a place close by as it was our camper vans maiden voyage and we wanted somewhere close. We were really surprised at how big the park was. Super friendly staff, great facilities and the food in the cafe looked amazing.

This caravan park offers everything you need to stay a quick night or settle in for a while. We have done both. They have always managed to squeeze us in. Stayed and dined. A great old hotel, not perfect, but built in 1909, has old world elegance and that art decco flair. Room was good, bathroom large and bed comfortable. We also dined, twice, food is good, drinks reasonable and you can read the Winston Churchill quotes for amusement. We have stayed at this Hotel 4 times over the past 2 years, including stays with family and friends. We absolutely love this place with its old fashioned character and spotlessly clean rooms, but it is the exceptional service by Angela and her team which makes our stays an outstanding experience. Absolutely priceless! I was forced to leave my hotel due to water supply problems and booked in at the County Hotel very much at the last minute. Classy, or what? Superb bedrooms, elegant bathrooms, high end dining rooms and quirky bar, as used by Churchill. Great Reception staff, too.

Wonderful large rooms with 3 beds! With kitchen ma! Gated environment and hence surely safe. There are swimming pools, playgrounds, etc. The resort is near the city centre where we can find everything there, plus beautiful places to visit.

I had a great stay at the Shoreline Motel! The absolute highlight is definitely the view – the direct view of the ocean is simply breathtaking and makes every moment there special. There is a detached house with a small courtyard, just on the street, but not in the courtyard of the Coastline Motel, about 200 meters away. The beach is right outside. There are two rooms, which are relatively clean and have a kitchen for cooking. The overall feeling is OK! Parking is on the roadside, which is not so convenient, but the overall experience is good.

Very satisfied, better than expected, the room directly overlooks the sea. Opposite the hotel, to the left in the direction of the tourist center, there is a delicious ice cream shop, you must try it, to the right is the aquarium

Very courteous and informative staff. Very clean room. Good sized parking lot. Very nice back patio on each groundfloor unit. The motel is a bit worn and we had to rehang the blackout curtains. Nice location with a long walking trail in the lagoon across the street and the ocean only 2 blocks away. We would stay there again.

Good, Dependable Motel near Airport Less than 5 minutes drive from Napier Airport, the Albatross Motel is also a close drive to central Napier, restaurants near Ahuriri, and the Esk Valley wine region as well as being across the road from the Ahuriri Lagoon and its walks. Great to stay here again and would be happy to stay again!

Refreshed room with view of water. Ice cream shop and aquarium across the street. Easy walk to farmers market and cafes. Would return.

The owner of the facility was outstanding, the room was very large spotless with a waterfront view. It was an outstanding place to stay.

Clean, tidy and perfect location for town. As mentioned a previous review, could do with better pillows but that is splitting hairs. Would be happy to stay there again

The motel is a short walk to the beach front and eating places. The room was clean and very comfortable. Slept well in the comfortable bed Had everything we needed for the two nights Had a drama with our hybrid car and the owner went out of his way to get onto a friend who gave us advise over the phone to get us on our way

Manager was wonderful and support staff were super lovely too! The room was clean, with heaps of beds which surprised us. We only booked for two adults and a child, but you could easily sleep 5 people. Such a great place to stay if you have kids. We would definitely stay again 😊

we checked-in on christmas day and we did not really want to bother the staff. there were no towels (shower or face or kitchen or hand or tea towels at all) left for use, exhaust fan was blowing cold air into the shower so it was a bit chilly to properly shower.

It’s an older tired looking from outside of the property but my room had been recently renovated. Good aircon, bed was new and extremely comfortable Room had everything I needed and was extremely clean. Staff communicated excellent was nice and quiet too

Amazing for the price. Quiet and clean, albeit a little rundown-looking. Would absolutely stay and again and would recommend. My only gripe is that the shower water pressure was somewhat lacking.

Second time we have a stayed at Spanish Lady it’ s the best value account Napier. Great location, super clean and everything you need. heat pump was toasty on a cold night. Sure it’s an older property but it’d clean tidy very well run.

We loved our stay at Fountain Court, from enquiry and booking to check in (we even got to check in early which was awesome) right through to stay and check out we couldn't fault anything. Very dated but in good condition. Some staff were nice and friendly. Spacious rooms, probably need to upgrade appliances including fridges and fans. Great location for visiting Napier, a short walk to restaurants and the National Aquarium. Bathroom smelled musty, but again, probably needs an expensive overhaul. Overall a comfortable stay.

Room with an unblocked view of the sea, no buildings between, but there is a road. Napier prides itself on its abundance of buildings of a certain style of around the 1920s in England epitomised by some Piccadilly line suburban tube stations (art deco ?). Best things about the place are the aquarium and the swimming pool.

We were just passing through Napier and unfortunately our ferry over was delayed so didn't get as much time to enjoy the accommodation and Napier as we hoped. Very nice apartment though, for the time we were in there.
