Disgusting the photos dont match what is advertising. It cost us $306.00 per night. Feeling ripped off for the valve of this accommodation. Cracked windows, ripped curtains, no shower door so the shower water goes on the floor. Dirty walls, stains on carpet and chairs. We only stay because there wasn’t any accommodation left invercargill as it was the oyster festival. We did complain but knowone cares.

Old building, looking a bit tired. Room was too warm but it's been unseasonably hot. Noisy portable aircon unit in room. Cracked glass in the character window frames. Only able to open one or the windows with some effort. The downpipe outside was noisy when the rain arrived in the night

Great value hotel in the centre of Invercargill.
The room is basic and a little dated but comfortable.
The access to the room from the front - entrance was unique, I needed to get through the two doors after the elevator hall. There're common kitchen area that must be useful if you stay for longer.
There're public car park just right front ot the hotel. It's free from 5pm to 8am - during night.
You need to pay at the parking metre or the PaymyPark app if you park there during day time.
The hotel service was good. Thank you.
I will be back to stay again when I have a chance to visit Invercargill next time.

If I were to go to Invercargill again, I would stay in Ibis. The room was a classic Ibis room. It had everything I expected for a short stay. When I stay in Ibis, I feel like I am getting everything what I paid for, for this price range. The shower had a moving shower head, which is always a big bonus! The laundy was $4 per wash I think. The recepcionist was very nice and she helped us with our luggage. Ibis has a great location, right at the center, we paid $25 coming from the airport with taxi and around $15 to go to the airport with Uber. K mart, food court and a lot of cheap and expensive restaurants are nearby. (We really liked Main Street eatery and Toasted, both at 7-10 min walking distance.)

weird place. beds v comfy rooms warm but lowest basin ever. v small shower. An office converted to a budget hotel. Weirdest thing was there was never anyone at reception and they were slow to answer the phone. Lots of plugs in the room .But place was really soulless. That being said it was great value for a mid town hotel. Rooms v clean.

The room was small being disappointing from other good IBIS Hotels have had bigger. In this case the ceiling had mould which is not good at all being left there. I should have asked to change rooms but stayed in it with little window viewing as well along with ventilation. The hallway stinks of cooked Indian food they need to put in air fresheners to take that bad ordour away. The staff were friendly and amenities were very plentiful. Suggest to have bigger bowls and cups being very little to eat from. Car parking is a problem at this place either on the street paying for it from 8:00am to 5:00pm or over in a mall car park for $10.00 a night. So factor that in if staying here. Better to get a place that provides it as it was a hassle to be up at 8:00am to go downstairs and pay for this each morning. Overall for money and value feel could have done better else where.
