We were booked for 2 nights, but after an evening of little sleep due to our room (12) being adjacent to the road and traffic lights (traffic noise and engines idling outside) we moved on. Our room was below 12a and we could hear the person upstairs use the loo during the night. The room was very basic, small (nowhere to hang or store clothes). We were offered an alternative room as we were leaving, but we’d already booked in elsewhere. There are plenty of better reviews for this motel, so I guess we had the duff room option!

Uncomfortable bed (subjective). Noisy. Run down. Check-out time is 10 am, but the cleaner decided to help herself and entered my room at 8:30 am unannounced. Says she knocked and she may have, but I didn't hear it and it makes no difference either way. I had not checked out and she was ABSOLUTELY NOT PERMITTED to enter my room. There is NO EXCUSE! Reception thought it was funny and said "its not our fault". Disgusting hotel.

The location is next to the 24hour convenience store, and on the main road, walking distance to the Invercargill Center, Woolworths and Pak'N'Save. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room got cleaned everyday.

Stayed at this location on our trip around New Zealand. The Inn was centrally located and close to restaurants. The rooms were clean and tidy. The only issue was the toilet and bathroom were on the smaller size. Priced suitably for the budget traveler. Would recommend.
