Great stay with a toddler A fantastic one night stay with our 18month old toddler. We had requested a cot and it was all ready in our room when we checked in. Amazing experience It was an amazing stay. I had stayed here before, but after the renovation, it is so much better. I highly recommend the apartment option, which is super new and fresh. You get a full kitchen, including a dishwasher, a stylish bathroom, and a comfortable bed with extra sleeping space. Also, the staff is super friendly.

We stayed in the Motel Dåmbas, not the hotel. It was bare bones, but clean, quiet, & free parking. The breakfast (in the actual hotel down the driveway) was really good! Hot items and cold, cereals, tea, and coffee. The autumn views were fantastic!

Simple standard, but clean and nice. Very good breakfast and nice staff. The location is perfect for overnight stay when you are on a road trip. Close to E6.

The cottage was tidy but dated. We felt like we were in the 60s/70s. We knew about the bunk bed, but it wasn't very comfortable. A comfy chair, a couch that wasn't quite as comfortable. And let's be honest: when do you sleep in the kitchen or cook in your bedroom?

I can absolutely recommend choosing this motel for any stay, but especially long-term. The way these cottages are in a perfect condition (built in 1969) really makes you feel like you traveled in time, because although everything's obviously old-style, it's perfectly clean and functions properly. Lovely cabin with great views right next to the river. It had all the necessary amenities. It was also very quiet and peaceful 😁

Chalets with all the essentials: kitchen, refrigerator, fast Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and parking next door. The water pressure in the bathroom is excellent and the water heats up quickly. There's a hairdryer. There's no shower head. For breakfast, you have to walk to the adjacent gas station. The breakfast is mediocre, sparse, and basic. The staff is very friendly.

Fantastic vintage cabins! Nice, clean, well maintained and you can really get the feeling of 70s-80s there! Check all the small details in the kitchen, bathroom and living room. Highly recommended!

Very atmospheric and cosy place to stop and eat. You can taste local musk-ox here as well, next to good Norwegian food, grilled meats, sausages and fish. Good plates of food for decent prices. The beautiful Dovrefjell park surrounds this magical place full of wooden furniture and woodcarvings. Right on the pilgrim's way and right beside the main road. We'll come back here as often as we can!

A wonderful wild haven in wonderful scenery between the brilliant Trondheim and historical Dombas. I've been there twice and will go again in 2026. You may not see a muskox in the wild but a muskox burger is something else, and close up indeed

An absolutely top-notch destination. We stayed there for five nights. The location was perfect as a starting point for hikes and other excursions. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The large rooms with private entrances are very clean, new, and equipped with everything you need. And the breakfast was very generous and delicious. We enjoyed our stay here immensely! The room was very spacious, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was newly renovated and lovely.
