The staff were very helpful and service oriented, and the rooms were clean and had cosy interior. I stayed in the older part of the hotel, so my experience could differ for those staying in the newly renovated rooms. The location was within walking distance to the airport which was nice. I did however miss having a mini fridge in my room, and the breakfast could have had more alternatives. Overall...

There ARE hotels with curtains that effectively darken the rooms, so that you have a chance to sleep without a sleeping mask in nordic countries in summer. Unfortunately, this hotel does not know about it...!

The town Andenes is more known for Northern Light tours, which means it’s essentially a ghost town if you are visiting in the summer. This is one of 2 hotels owned by the same chain on the Main Street, and has older rooms with a decent breakfast. There wasn’t a room when we checked in, but they transferred us to a sister hotel that had cabins by the sea. Breakfast was not included at this location

The best part is the hotel owner. She's always very kind and helps you with absolutely everything you need in Andenes. The breakfast is also delicious. The room and bathroom are comfortable. Overall, it's a great hotel to come and relax and enjoy the activities you came to Andenes to do.

A small, comfortable, and reasonably priced hotel in the heart of Andenes. A special mention goes to the exceptionally friendly welcome! Just steps from the port and whale-watching excursions, and close to the ferry to Senja. There's an excellent little restaurant nearby.

In a place like Andenes you can't expect a super deluxe hotel or you have to book at the Suite hotel but then it will be much more expensive. Marena Hotell in Andenes is a fairly modest hotel compared to the other hotels. But quite a good place to stay. Room just big enough with a few good seats. A desk with chair. Best accomodation in town. Quiet room, large bathroom. But, above all extremely nice and helpfull staff. The cafe we wanted to go to had already been closed at 3 pm. They made for the two of us coffee and croissants.

Right on the harbor, great walking The check in and breakfast are at another hotel. But this is right on the water and the area around it is great for walking the harbor.

Room was ok, underfloor heating in bathroom was a nice surprise, was quiet and warm despite the weather, adequate for an overnight stay

We booked room with sofa for one night. Nice and very clean room, with small kitchen, better than in pictures. Easy to find free parking near by. Good place with dogs and pet fee was only 225. Check-in was near by hotel. Staff there was nice and helpfull.

Ok for a night. Only stayed one night. Was very comfortable but the kitchen and it's equipment was very minimal despite there being space for more worktop and there was no proper table. Bit surprised there was no TV. The beds were comfy and the bathroom very nice. Handy for the ferry and free parking.

Good place to stay Great location by the sea and near the town center. Clean and comfortable. There is a small kitchen in the room which is very useful. Just be aware that it is unmanned. You have to go to another hotel in town to pick up the key.
