Hotell Marena in Andenes

We had a great experience at Marena. The owner helped us in every single thing we needed... she booked restaurants for us, helped us to rent a car, prepared a delicious sandwich, and coffee for breakfast because we were departing earlier. The hotel was very cozy, silent, and extremely clean. A very comfortable bed, with nice deco. A must stay if you are coming to visit Andenes area.

There wasn’t a room when we checked in, but they transferred us to a sister hotel that had cabins by the sea. Breakfast was not included at this location

The best part is the hotel owner. She's always very kind and helps you with absolutely everything you need in Andenes. The breakfast is also delicious. The room and bathroom are comfortable. Overall, it's a great hotel to come and relax and enjoy the activities you came to Andenes to do.

A small, comfortable, and reasonably priced hotel in the heart of Andenes. A special mention goes to the exceptionally friendly welcome! Just steps from the port and whale-watching excursions, and close to the ferry to Senja. There's an excellent little restaurant nearby.

In a place like Andenes you can't expect a super deluxe hotel or you have to book at the Suite hotel but then it will be much more expensive. Marena Hotell in Andenes is a fairly modest hotel compared to the other hotels. But quite a good place to stay. Room just big enough with a few good seats. A desk with chair. The rooms are soberly furnished but with wooden floors. Bathroom not very big but very comfortable. The reception was very sober, the young lady was friendly and explained but that was it. Good parking across the street, and a lift available, there are rooms on the ground floor and on 2 floors. Well located in the center and close to a few places to eat because they don't offer dinner but breakfast. The breakfast is sober but good. The hotel is a great base for the activities in the village itself such as the whale safari, puffins etc.

Best accomodation in town. Quiet room, large bathroom. But, above all extremely nice and helpfull staff. The cafe we wanted to go to had already been closed at 3 pm. They made for the two of us coffee and croissants.
