Hamdan Plaza Hotel in Salalah

A big thank you to the hotel staff for their support during our stay. We were unexpectedly stuck here for some time because of the situation in the Middle East, and the team was very helpful and supportive throughout this period. The reception works quickly and efficiently, and all the employees are friendly, polite, and always ready to help if you need anything.

The food in the hotel is decent. It was really comforting to have good meals while dealing with travel uncertainty.

The hotel itself is a bit old and looks somewhat worn, but everything important was well maintained. The bed linen and towels were always clean, and whenever we asked, housekeeping came quickly and replaced them. The water pressure in the bathroom is good, which was a nice plus.

The Wi-Fi sometimes works with interruptions, but this may be due to the large number of guests staying at the hotel right now.

Overall, we had a positive experience and are grateful to the staff for their kindness and professionalism during a stressful situation. We would recommend this hotel if you need a comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights.

Great hotel in Salalah city, the rooms are large and clean, breakfast was great and personnel very helpful and kind. Huge swimming pool but not heated for the season. 2 big malls are close by, walking distance. If we comeback to Salalah we will definitely go back, there. The value for quality of service is excellent.

One of the best hotels in Salalah, with a great location. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and while the hotel does have a few flaws, the hospitality and friendliness of the staff truly stand out. There’s room for improvement, but overall, it offers good value for money.

Great place, I like the people there. I thank all the team specially Refka in the reception office & Surag in the restaurant & the guys of room service. Free Omani coffee & dates are always available. The meals are great, specially the chicken fingers salad.
