The hotel does have a sea view but the beach is full of trash and the snad isn't very clean. There were construction works during my stay and every aspect of the hotel felt cheap

We went as a group of 120 pax for 2 days stay and it was amazing stay at Sur Beach Holiday Resort. The reservation team was very friendly, patient and polite to handle the group. Also the banquet team was amazingly pleasant in serving us throughout the event. We long to go back soon.

As good as it gets! I`ve been surfing Africa west to east, from Liberia to Oman, and north to south, from Maroc to S.A. and stayed in many places but Golden Beach Restaurant in Al Ashkharah is near top of the list, for sure! Excellent price-value package, tidy & clean room and bed, seaview from balcony is breathtaking and the staff ist amazingly helpful and supportive. Can`t wait to get back, deffo

The location is great with perfect views and back door beach. Rooms are spacious but needs modern amenities as they were built few years ago. The restaurant is one of the toppest.

The staff were friendly and polite. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Hot water supply was excellent. Breakfasts were delicious, served buffet-style. The beach is a 10-minute walk or a short drive away, and it's a great beach. Hotel guests get a free turtle excursion in the morning and evening, with priority access as the first group. This hotel is located nearby the turtle beach and has options to watch sea turtles at night/early morning while they lay eggs or young baby turtles appear from the nest and tend to the sea. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

The place were great for experience but the facilities is below Standard compared to the price. Especially the odor from the tent should be taken care.

The overall facilities were quite poor, but I was there just for the turtles, so I'll give it a 3, but it's well worth it. The bed was about 1.8, the room was quite dirty and had a strong odor, the table hadn't been wiped, and the inside of the tent was covered in dust. The hotel's exterior blends seamlessly into the landscape, but its interior, as do the rooms, somewhat resembles a prison. They need to improve the organization of group meals, as well as the breakfast, which is passable. In the evening, there's a buffet for 10 OMR, which is quite good, but the price isn't listed anywhere.

The staff at the front desk were great. The hotel is located close to the Souq, a supermarket and access to highway routes for getting to and from Sur.

Basic hotel close to the center of Sur; the room was a bit small, the bathroom wasn't so good (the shower was pratically on the WC...) and the conditioner was noisy and pointing directly on our bed, thus causing cold and few comfort. The hotel served an extremely basic breakfast, then we decided to have it elsewhere. Building an elevator would be really helpful.

The hotel is located right in the center of Sur, the souk is right behind the hotel, and the seafront is a 5-minute walk away. The room is spacious and the bathroom is functional, but the woman in the middle, with no windows or curtains, is definitely uncomfortable. Still, recommended for a one-night stopover. Sur is worth a visit.

Great rooms and service at a prime location. Our only complaint was the use of mosquito repellents inside hotel. Also there is no lift facility. The staff are friendly and inviting. They also have a cafe and lot of restaurant options at walkable distance nearby. Sur souq and beach are also easily accessible from here by walk.

After leaving Wadi Shab, we decided to stop and explore the nearby city of Sur. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and made us feel very welcome. They helped carry our luggage to the second floor and prepared a lovely breakfast for us in the morning. We had a great stay and want to sincerely thank the staff for their professionalism something that is often missing even in many 5 star hotels.

They do their best - it's an older hotel with no lift but the room is comfortable and it's in a good location. The manager, Mr Nasser, was very friendly.

Had a pleasant stay in Sur, Oman. The hotel was clean, calm, and comfortable. Staff were polite and helpful, and the location was convenient for getting around the city. Overall, a nice place for a peaceful stay. Would recommend for families and short trips.

Spacious, comfortable beds but in need of renovation

Good, clean and neat hotel. Ambience is good. The only downside is that food is not available in the hotel, all others are ok.

Everything is ok and budget friendly but some issues i faced they don't provide towels.

We got a very spacious studio apartment which was clean, had two bathrooms. Large kitchen with fridge was also available in our rooms. The caretaker Bipin was helpful and recommended sightseeing places in Sur. Secure car parking is available infront of the property and also by the sides.

Good place to stay. The apartments have a kitchen and a good bedroom - living room, a large bathroom. It is just a few meters from the beach.

Rooms need total refurbishment they are very old and started to wear. Overall all good sleep and location

It's a hotel apartment. If someone is shifting in Sur for short period it's nice to stay here.

Decent and nothing more. Overall clean and well equipped - lacks a bit here and there in the details though. 10 minutes drive from the city centre. Ok as it's cheap

A good economical hotel just infront of the beach. Big rooms with good facilities. Everything is easily accessible. Restaurants nearby. I can recommend this hotel to other guests.

The staff is supportive, but needs to take measures of cleanliness as i got the room with bedbugs, so changed it after spending couple of hours in it. But the second room was good with beautiful view outside the window and good pricing. Family hotel.

I stayed in this hotel for three nights. It is a good location, walking distance to the city center, souq, market and many restaurants. The room is big, I had AC and good internet, and even a kitchen. However, the kitchen didn't have almost anything, you couldn't boil water, I didn't find a knife to cut something. But overall it was ok for the price you pay.

I would have loved to have this setup in Muscat. We had a spacious one bedroom apartment with a kitchen, living room and a bedroom all to ourselves. Plenty of space to organize luggage and store some camping supplies. Location is excellent. Good views of the Corniche, within walking distance of the souq. There is a corner supermarket in the vicinity and an amazing South Indian hole in-the-wall restaurant...
