10/10
The hotel’s glory days are long gone. A few years ago, when I stayed there, it seemed like a decent place on the hotel map of Łódź.
Today, apart from cleanliness and the very friendly staff, there’s little good to say.
The rooms are cold, the furnishings are old, the TV barely works, and the water in the shower drains so slowly that it overflows before you’re done.
The hotel also doesn’t offer a late check-out option.
For one night, it’s manageable — but for a longer stay… there are better options for a similar price.
The worst hotel experience I’ve had!
Not all rooms have good windows, I ended up in a room with a window that allowed all the noise and cold from the outside to enter. Literally felt like sleeping on the street, I could hear every car, all the conversations and noises.
After complaining several times, I got a room with a better window. However, very hot inside and no possibility to lower the heat in the room. You can also hear everything from the rooms next to you.
They do not provide enough toilet paper, I literally had to go and ask for toilet paper daily. And they acted surprised about it. Only hand soap in the toilet, nothing else is provided.
Lastly, in the room next to me, a group of around 10 teenagers held a party with loud music, screaming, dancing, jumping, etc, from around 8 pm to 2 am in the morning. I complained several times, however they allowed it to happen.
The staff is not that nice (with exceptions) and can barely speak English. Lastly, no elevator at the hotel at all.
Please avoid this hotel!
No fridge
no elevator
No heavy curtain - you get woke up by sun
the area is slum-like and has no places to eat or walk around (just a 7-11 type place a block away).Though formally urban, it is STRICTLY for guests with CARS
On the plus side it is clean (tho everything worn out) and the personnel was really helpful (as if to compensate for the above)
