Where to stay in Gdansk

The hotel is nice and clean for 3 🌟 hotel. The breakfast was ok, could be better selection of hot food. One thing that has annoyed me was the carpark fee. It was 50zl around 12.5e . The annoying part was not information during the booking. You really have to drill in to the booking to find this. I wasn't expecting that, never seen that before for hotel that has own carpark next to the building. This...

Some standard tiny issues with the bathroom, and the lights in the bed are really bad positioned you turn them off constant if you want to sit upright 🤣. But other than that, real good, will come back.

It was a lovely staty at this hotel, I would recommend it to anyone going here. The staff was really helpful and there a direct bus to the old town from here!

The hotel is very good, clean with a good breakfast and above all right in front of a bus stop that takes you to the center in 8 minutes.

I gave it four stars because of their service and support - we were dumped there by Lufthansa after they cancelled their flight literally at the last minute. But for Gdańsk the location and style were definitely on the lower side. Food was good though and plentiful.

I stayed with my friend for 2 night and we had a very nice time in the hotel. The view from the room is amazing, the breakfast is simply excellent with a lot of choices. We loved the welcome cake as well. The sauna and the spa area is also very nice and clean. I can only recommend this hotel to everyone :)

Fantastic location right in the heart of the old town, yet still very quiet. It's only about a ten-minute walk to the train station, making it perfect for a holiday or sightseeing trip. About 15 mins or so from thr main station and town centre. The room had everything I needed and more. Kettle, tea, coffee, milk, fridge, tv and cosy bed. The room was spacious, clean and even had a balcony with a decent view. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean room, close to restaurants/bars/cafes

Great few days at the Grand Q This hotel was great for a few days visiting Gdansk. It is very close to the river and therefore a lot of the attractions and places of interest. The staff are lovely, very helpful and polite. I would use this hotel again for a return trip.

Stayed here for a long weekend. It's almost next to the train station, so very convenient for arriving from the airport. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was nothing special but good enough. As a craft beer lover it was great to have a selection of craft beers and good food in the restaurant. Rooms are small but cozy. Toilets are very clean. There is a big shopping mall just across the street. So is pretty convenient for us to grab some fastfood there. I'm happy with my 2 nights stay there.

We took advantage of an offer for this hotel which enabled us to get a very good price in the centre of Gdansk. The hotel does the job without more. The rooms are small, the bathroom is icy cold and so is the welcome. Breakfast is quite good with a fairly wide choice. If the hotel is full price I would not recommend it as it is not worth the price.

A little out of the centre The building is in teo halves as what you see in the photo isnt the part we stayed in but we did have our breakfasts there. The hotel reception doesnt look like a hotel as i felt the look wasn't welcoming and could easily be a reception for a company. A great little hotel located two tram stops from the main Gdansk train station. Comfortable bed, quiet, tea station in the room. Breakfast is beyond praise, amazed by its range and variety. It is also convenient to go to the beach by tram.

Great service and a veru centrally situated hotel. Room and rates were good. However, room was on ground floor and every time the front door of hotel was opened, it shut with a ferocious clatter. This woke me up on each night I stayed, often several times. It would stop me returning to the Artus which is a pity, because everyhing else was of a good standard.

Amber hotel did not disappoint. Very speedy check-in, clean room with new and functional amenities. I liked that windows can be opened to air the room if necessary, and radiator temperature can be regulated. Nice tea cups with electric kettle - just what I needed after a winter day out. We got upgraded to a suite with a beautiful view of the city and a small kitchen. Hotel was steps away from the Old City with many shops and restaurants. Parking was easy, gated and on site. It was a bit tricky getting our luggage up the steps to reception...my only small complaint. Hotel was spotlessly clean.

Really nice and affordable hotel with five star costumer service! Only downsize is that it is super nosy, you can hear everything from outside and other guests, and I mean EVERYTHING. The cleaners started vacuuming very early in the morning. Otherwise no complaints, but if you want a good night’s sleep, maybe not the best place for you.

The hotel has a good location, close to the train stations and the old town. Overall, everything is fine; there's an elevator. Breakfast is in the basement. The buffet breakfast is delicious. The hotel still keeps old radios and blowdryers, which give it a unique touch, though they are not very functional. It is a hotel with a good price overall, useful for a few nights, and it is well-positioned for public transport.

The hotel is good. Clean, cozy, quiet. The goal was just to spend the night and go to the airport. I ordered a taxi at the reception in the evening, the taxi arrived exactly on time in the morning, 12 minutes to the airport for 10€. Everything is great!

What we expect, I would give more stars

The hotel is close to the airport. The rooms are not very big and the facilities are average. There are no commercial facilities around. The hotel only has breakfast, so it takes more than ten minutes to walk to eat.

You can't stick to anything. Room very clean, breakfast DELICIOUS, tasty and fresh. Coffee? It's been a long time since I drank such good coffee at breakfast in a hotel :) seriously. I am very satisfied and from now on it is the only budget hotel in GDN that I can recommend with a clear conscience. Ps. Thank you to the receptionist for the Coke and I hope the bar was tasty 🙂

Small very new hotel located not fare way from Old Town

Location was a bit out of the center (about 40mins walking) but would be better with a car. The bed was a double but with one very flat pillow, so I had to fold up items to plump things up/recline in bed while using computer etc. I had to ask specifically for the WiFi password (so i didn't have it the first night because they don't just give it to you). In the neighborhood there were 2 supermarkets...

Great little place, most impressive breakfast I ever had in a moderately priced hotel. Everything from lattes to deviled eggs with caviar. Everything in between. Our stay at this hotel was wonderful. The location is perfect, with many major attractions within easy walking distance. The breakfast was exceptional, offering great quality and variety. We stayed at a superior deluxe room and it was very nice. The bed is comfortable the decor is cozy with a retro vibe. The bathtub was very big which is quite rare for a hotel room. The only thing missing for me was a second set of pillows so that each person would have two, but that doesn’t change a pleasant stay.
