Where to stay in Gdansk

Very nice hotel, situated in a quiet and calm neighborhood. The hotel is new, the rooms are very clean and nice, with tea and a kettle included. The best part was the staff that is exceptionally nice and kind, special thanks to Mikołaj, who was very nice for recommending restaurants and places to see, and special thanks to Alima for being extremely patient and kind in helping me.

Very close to a tram station, can get you almost anywhere in the city. There is a carrefour express 3 minutes away. Staff were very nice, there is a vending machine with snacks in the lobby. Great breakfast

Let me preface by saying I would definitely come back to the Hotel Vesper House! The location itself was very much my vibe: it wasn't in a busy city centre, it was instead in a hilltop neighbourhood a short drive from the train station, and you really felt as if you were living among locals. Quiet, clean boutique hotel. A wonderful boutique near the hospital. Perhaps a bit too far out from the central area, and only a couple of restaurants within walking distance (both good). Everything perfect!! Rooms with new furniture, very comfortable bed, large bathroom with double mixer, TV, blackout curtains on the windows. Kettle with a choice of teas and coffees. Fantastic place for the money! Nice location - trams to ciry center and to the sea. Shops and Lidl nearby too. Rooms are clean and cosy, delicious breakfasts, free hot and carbonated water on each floor. Highly recommend!

This hotel is nice, but way too far from Gdansk. The tram ride was about 45 minutes there and back. If you're in the area for business, then I imagine it's perfect. Good breakfast buffet. Our room was quiet, spacious and comfortable. The parking was easy and well priced.

Beautifully situated hotel. A small but charming hotel on the first line of the sea. After a dozen or so years of its splendor, it requires renovation and investment. The rooms are modest but adequate for a short stay. The service is friendly but not overly organized. I recommend it for short stays in the archipelago of the cold seas of Northern Europe.

Amazing place, went here for vacation. Love the sea out my window. I open the door every morning to the sound of the Baltic sea. Breakfast is awesome there's something for everyone. It's right there on the beach, walk out the door and you're there! Has a pub but also located near excellent restaurants on the beach and the street.

We were surprised how luxury Lival is. Nice hotel staff and in restaurant is very good food. And reservation, comunication was good I dont have a problem with them. Its really good place and I felt like home there. I miss them all so much. Thank you Lival.

Ok hotel if you are travelling on a budget. Nice room, ok breakfast. One negative thing is worth mentioning though: Don't expect the staff to understand or speak English.

Decent hotel, nothing fancy. What you expect for the price.

Would be nice if they could thoroughly wash the carpets. Beds are decent and the towels are clean. But if you have a sensitive nose, the smell of long time unwashed carpets is hard to ignore.

The location was optimal for a conference in the Olivia Star Building (Tower). The price was reasonable, the look into the icehockey arena (see picture) funny. Breakfast was fine, staff very friendly and helpful. Warning: the door to the shower cabin opens only about 31,5 cm, for me ok, but maybe for some difficult!

Loved. For such a price, you can't think of anything more. calm, quiet, with a good breakfast and pleasant staff. I recommended it to all my friends. My son is 5 years old and he said that it is very cozy there😊🥰

Just in the middle of the district I love. Close to the skating rink, people play hockey there. That might be noisy a bit, but the price was really good and I didn't mind people playing)

Five stars is definitely not enough. The rooms and service are top-notch. The owner is a wonderful person, friendly and helpful. The rooms are of the highest standard, with air conditioning. I highly recommend it. Time spent here is nothing but a pleasant, carefree vacation. I recommend it to everyone.

A wonderful place for a few days' getaway in the middle of winter (as it was for us, although its location makes it a fantastic place for a summer vacation). Close to the sea, the rooms are of a high standard, and the breakfasts are delicious. We had a wonderful time here, and the ladies who prepare breakfast are very warm and caring. Room a bit dated but very convenient location. The beach just accross the jelitkowski park. The staff very polite and helpful. There is option with and without breakfast. My room was with access to the tarace. The only inconvenience was that a kettle not available in the room. The whole kitchen facility available downstairs though. Place highly recommended.

The hotel and stuff are nice. However, it could be problem for people with sensitive sleep, there is train line near to the hotel, lucky if room’s windows does not look that side.

Located within a 15-minute walk of the Gdańsk Wrzeszcz railway station. Rooms simply furnished. Little space to work with a laptop and too few electrical sockets. Good internet. Nice hotel service.

You get what you pay for. Room is clean. Shower clean and cozy. But at wednesday first train goes at 05:35 after that trash car comes at 05:42, few more trains later another trash car comes to take glass containers. Oh yeah, and they got shoe cleaner mashine in hall. Thats pretty cool in my opinion

The room is very nice, big and clean. There is no toothbrush and toothpaste. You need to bring your own. The front desk English is not very good and there are few gym facilities.

Very nice place to relax from the city. Cozy, small and clean rooms. 10 minute walk to the sea. Delicious breakfasts and the forest silence.

Often there is no hot water. Breakfast can be good, but for those that have them in the room rate. Guests of the houses pay 22 roubles, but it is too much. Not enough staff in the kitchen, all waiting for a very long time. Food is issued, allegedly up to 10 hours, but 9: 30 is nothing to eat. Rooms cool. The location is a bit far from the main train station, but a BOLT fare is around 38 BDTS, and there's no traffic. The room is clean and tidy, with all the kitchen utensils, so you can cook simple meals yourself. Friendly service, tasty breakfasts, the rooms have everything you need (from glasses, cutlery, to dishwashing liquid), and the place is very well connected to the city center (the bus stop is opposite the building).

Very scientific place and scientific location, old town with old architecture. Gdansk Golovny is very 10 minutes from hotel.

This building is subdivided and rented out to different hotel managements, and they share the sauna area. So, the sauna isn't free; its availability depends on whether your specific room package includes it. Also, the room was a bit small – not great, but not terrible either.

Location is TOP!!! The room is cozy and has everything you need. It was warm in early December, and you can adjust the heating in the room. Everything is clean and comfortable, there is a kettle, tea, and drinking water. We had a comfortable double bed. And most importantly, there is good sound insulation.

Nice modern hotel. Standard double was a good size. Small double could be an issue for some. Beds were comfortable but we were on the first floor and heard music from the bar below. If your a light sleeper this could be an issue. The hotel is located in the centre of Gdansk. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Very good but the bed is not very comfortable

Great location near Oliwa Cathedral and famous Oliwa Park. Bicycle distance to Sopot (6km) and Gdańsk old town (10 km). Breakfast is astonishing rich. Moreover, free coffee and tea is available in the reception 24/7 with cookies(!). It’s despite the room facilities - tea and coffee as well. Don’t forget everyday water ( sparkling and still).

Everything was as expected from a hotel within this price range, and breakfast was excelling. Free cookies and tea/coffee served throughout the at the lobby was such a pleasing touch. Also, excellent location and a solid service.

What a place! If you ask yourself if you want to take the breakfast here - don't doubt - the breakfast choice and quality is just amazing and definitely worth the price. I'd say it's worth to stay there just to have the breakfast!

A great little hotel with such friendly and helpful staff members. The breakfast had some strange items and a bit of a limited choice for those not used to Polish meals but there was just about enough selection. (Please keep milk in a fridge!)

I travel a lot, and this was my best hotel so far. why? I don't know. I really liked the room, Intimate, cozy, with warmth, the hotel is quite small, but very pleasant, modern, the breakfast is excellent, simply, I want to come there again. It is pretty close to central train station. It's a lovely small hidden secret of the Gdansk.

Ok if your looking for a simple place to stay reasonably priced I would recommend. The rooms are quite big which is great although they lack a phone if you need to contact reception. The duvet on our bed was too small to cover the whole bed which was strange. The hotel itself could use a little better cleaning especially in the hallway carpets. The hotel bar isn't exactly a bar. It's a great hotel close to the city center. If you decide to walk, it takes you about 20 minutes to get there. There is also a tram stop right in front of it, and the city center is one stop away. Between the hotel and the city center is the Forum Gdańsk, which is a very modern shopping mall where you can find anything you might need. You can take Bus Number 210 from the airport to get to the hotel...
