City Apartments - Arka Medical Spa in Kolobrzeg

Unfortunately, during my stay, I had an accident at the pool. I cut my finger deeply on a damaged water filter grate. Blood gushed. I was treated in the lifeguard room, then at the nursing station. I asked for security on the CCTV. I reported the incident to the reception desk. I was informed that a decision on potential compensation for the incident would be made at the management level. Unfortunately, no one contacted me. Despite two in-person reports and two emails, I consider the lack of a "sorry" and the lack of any response to be the greatest insult and disrespect to the customer. Unfortunately, the cut finger meant that I was unable to use the pool or the sea for the rest of my stay in Kołobrzeg, and I was also limited to the beach.

We decided to spend Christmas here and definitely it was a very bad idea. Price to quality aspect is a JOKE! Good things were: location of the hotel, good breakfasts and acceptable size of the room. The food here is less than poor quality. Restaurants look like big school cafeterias with harsh lighting and it’s also very dirty there. Tables and chairs are disgusting. We chose Christmas offer and we felt that we were scammed of our money. We are very upset that we spent our family time in such a place. Never again!

I've never experienced as terrible of a time trying to book a hotel by phone.

I've called, been transferred, waited 15mins, transferred again, been given 2 incorrect phone numbers to call. Called again, no one at reception seems to speak English. Was told to write an email. No response. Called again 1hr later, same lady that only speaks German and Polish. My German partner got on the phone to request a room and she hung up on us. Every time we called, we had to wait for an answer.

I'm so frustrated right now, I don't even want to stay here anymore.

It should not be this hard to try to book a stay somewhere.

The city and hotel is not suitable for coloured people😌

Hotel for Germans. Not for any other cultures or nations. Everything in German or Polish. Staff at bar very rude!!! Not professional at all. You can not even buy ice atvthis place. There drinks are average. Food breakfast and dinner 3 stars. Pool and spa below average. I found it dirty. A lot of people/ Germans very dirty!! No shower before going to pool coming out of souna. Doutche shaise!

Rooms are 3cstar hotel.

Day1 Sofa bed falling apart, air con leaked all over carpet and fridge. Mended quickly to be fair, but left soaking towel on floor; water all over the top of fridge which was still plugged in. Asked for some ice for room- point blank refused- hotel policy! Offered to pay, told by bar to go to a shop at 10pm with nearest shop if open 25mins walk! Family booked 3 rooms for most of the week- shocking customer service. Food at dinner was average at best, smelt like a school canteen. Stodgy old fashioned food. The best thing was the bread and cakes! The thought of dinner for another 4 days is not very appetising! The location is great, next to the beach and they offer a variety of treatments which are not cheap

The hotel has a great location right by the beach. The rooms and the hotel in general are very outdated and the rooms were a little dirty. We were mostly surrounded by elderly and got a lot of weird looks. The food is very typical polish, not a lot of healthy options and almost no vegan options. All in all we would not come back.

New year eve. I was literally shocked to see that most of the guests WERE NOT WEARING a mask. Wow. During the check in( long queue with all people standing next to each other , in the lift, walking in the hotel. I did not go to the restaurant and other commons area as I was literally scared. WOW. I have not see something like this anywere else I been travelling.  Few others point. - Receptionist did not speak english  - service room was until 16 ( as i did not want to go to restaurant in a situation such a the one described above). - gastronomia service did not speak english. - reception was not answering the phone. - toilet paper missing in the room. I understand it was a new year eve but I cannot understand the poor covid measures ( well no measures as what I have seen). I do not know the Polish law but were not even asked for the covid check.
