Small but cozy and clean hotel. Not a high price for the room, stayed more than once, the staff is polite...

The rooms are small, located on the first floor, you can even say in the basement, breakfast consists of scrambled eggs, freeze-dried coffee and some other nonsense. Rooms are clean, good facilities.

I stayed here in my solo around the world motorcycle trip. It’s just a short walk to the main “Lenin head” plaza/ area. I walked a couple times at night and had no issues whatsoever. The hotel is nice, clean, has a bit of style to it, and the staff is super, super helpful and efficient. Could not say enough about this place as a great value in Ulan-Ude

Very lovely lady at the front desk. Coming for the dorm room, very good value ! You get 2 towels, slippers, and there's a kitchen you can use as well as the lobby and cafeteria tables area. Close to the station. Would come again !

A very nice place, home-like I'd say: very clean, comfortable and welcoming. It's safe, it has a really good location and the service is definitely worth the money you'll pay for staying there. I have no doubt what place to choose next time when it comes to a hostel in Ulan Ude

Alexander, the owner, is so nice! He helped me a lot and his hostel is really good. Has a good kitchen, bathroom, toilet, nice doorms. Many people are staying there. I recommend U-City hostel very much!

Excellent location, just opposite to the train station and not too far from the city center and walking distance - 45min to buddhist temple Datsan 'Rinpoche Bagsha' Cleanliness at its top, with perhaps the best bathrooms of hostels I ever stayed. Bike hire possible for 500R. Unfortunately staff doesn't speak English wich unable them to give you tourist advices etc.

Excellent hostel! The staff are very friendly (no English is spoken but you just have to use Google translate) and they work tirelessly to keep the place spotless. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the bathrooms are kept sparkling clean and new. The showers are some of the best I have come across in any hostel anywhere in the world-hot, good water pressure, clean! Super fast...

They were very friendly, speak adequate English, and have great Wi-Fi. Only one shower and toilet, so you will need to be strategic with your timing, but overall great quality for the price. Clean just like the name says. They even booked us a private driver/guide to lake Baikal for dirt cheap. Would recommend to anyone travelling through Ulan Ude.

As the name suggests, the hostel is extremely clean! The staff that runs the place are very friendly and in spite of the language barrier, they made a lot of effort in communicating with us via Google translate and with a little English, and guiding us on bus numbers and routes. The only drawback is that there is only one toilet and one bathroom, so you might have to wait a bit if some of the guests...

CLEAN Hostel I liked not only the fact that near the station, shops, near downtown, and, most importantly, the attitude towards the guests - friendly, cleanliness, order, comfort. The hostel is new and great. Every inch has been thought of. The space is organized just perfectly, the city has never seen anything like it. This is the first capsule hostel in Ulan-Ude. Ideal for sports teams, class trips, youth groups, young families with children. Super hostel, very modern !!! Honestly, I didn't expect it! Everything is new, modern, high quality! The bed is very comfortable, soft and of very good quality. You can wash things in the washer, paying only 35 rubles for the powder. Modern kitchen equipped with everything you need. Well done boys!!!!

We lived in this hostel from May 1 to May 2, 2021. The hostel is excellent. New, clean, comfortable, great location. Through the viaduct you can get to the railway station. On foot you can walk to Sovetov Square in 15 minutes.Supermarkets are nearby. Very friendly manager and owner of the hostel.

The room has row of standard capsule bunk beds. The bed is fine; I just do not like capsule bed. Everything is fine. Common area and toilet / shower room is clean. The only negative thing about the room far away from the receptionist desk/front desk is WIFI is not reliable. It is easy to fix (in my opinion) is by adding a WiFI booster/extender/repeater... We had a rest with friends very much. The main house is large, warm, and has a shower. There is a good kitchen, and there is also an opportunity to brew delicious coffee. A large area with a forest where you can walk without fear of the children, and a good expanse for organizing teambuildings. I will come with friends again, in winter

Good hostel. It is important that it is really close to the train station - 6 minutes on foot! Close to the center, shops nearby. The double room is clean and warm - tested in frost -25. However, it owes heat to the window closed by roller shutters. There are enough sockets in the room, there is a sink. The kitchen is cramped. Shower is normal. Payment by card was not accepted - cash or transfer.

Very convenient location near the hostel, cozy, warm, clean room. I always pay attention first of all to bed linen, everything is in order with it here. The staff is very friendly which makes me happy! In the ratio of "price and quality", a solid five!!!

I can say that you can rebook, one night or a couple. Clean linens but nothing else. Inconvenient prefabs, where it is quite dirty, are not cleaned often. The kitchen is also not clean. It is not very pleasant to have breakfast or lunch there, and there is no place everywhere, it is difficult to part with people. The beds are solid and wooden, but stuffy even with the window open. Be ready. But close...

It’s small but very very clean, super friendly lady and her daughter managing the place and both speak perfect English. Place is right behind the train station (5min walk) and easy access to everywhere, Ulan Ude is not a big place anyway. Best option to stay if you are passing by through the railway.

Very nice hostel with an incredible host! We spent two days there and the host was so kind and helpful with us! We paid only 500rubli p.p The hostel is very clean, comfortable and has a kitchen, with all the necessary, and two bathrooms. The position is good because is quite near the city center (1-1.2km) and the train station. We hope to come back there! Thank you very much!
