+ If you come from a distant country, the frozen river will make you unforgettable. There is also a delicious restaurant on the river.- -

The hotel itself is excellent. The most atmospheric place on the Volga, a landing stage with cozy rooms overlooking the river. Friendly staff.
Do not take breakfasts - you will be offered instant coffee, and a drink from a coffee machine costs separate money. I have never seen anything like this in any hotel with breakfasts, coffee in the morning is sacred.
If we take this into account and take rooms without breakfast (you can have breakfast with excellent coffee in the "Staraya Pristan" just 150 rubles more, for 400 rubles a few steps from there), then this is a great option for guests of Kostroma.

The view is really nice especially from the corner studio room. I lived on the first floor and when someone walking on the second the ceiling starts cracking) very narrow hallway to the room and a gap of 2 cm under the door brings all the noise into the room. Breakfast is ok, not super fancy. The location is very good. You can stay with the dog for additional fee. At the end I think this hotel worse the price.

Nice hotel, stands on the water, in the form of a ship.
Rooms are like cabins.
The balcony overlooks the Volga, where ducks swim.
The room has a kettle, refrigerator, cups, toiletries, a large bed with a comfortable mattress and a large TV.
Breakfast room is sooooo small
There, 3 round, wobbling tables fit back to back.
Well, not in season and there were only 4-5 couples for the whole hotel
The staff is polite
Answers all questions, helps to solve emerging problems.
Breakfast is usual
Yogurt, pancakes, pancakes, muffins, toasts, 1 type of cheese, sausage, jam, tea, coffee.
There is a microwave.
No frills, but you won't stay hungry either

Great location, great river view, comfortable rooms, good furniture and bed linen. Of the minuses: thin walls, large people would not be very convenient small bathroom, small Parking.

Nice, but for a stay from morning to evening of one day had to pay for like a day and a half, actually lived half a day. Friendly staff, nice interiors, the romance of sea travel.

Wonderful view, comfortable room. The walls are very thin. Arrived in Kostroma in the evening, there was snow, there are no good pointer and signage, it's dark. Got to be only the third time.

Friendly staff. Restaurant closed earlier. Entrance not free of bearriers. Carparking nearby. Clearly listening walls.

It's crowded in the rooms and you will be very loud if the neighbors ;) but very original-the landing stage!
