Great location. Reasonable prices and service. The rooms are not new, but nothing falls off. Breakfast - buffet. Sauna 2 steps from the room with a meeting room for a company. The view from the window to the Volga is just a fairy tale. 5 minutes uphill to the main square. Were warm in the room in winter. I advise.

Cozy cafe. Didn't stay, I won't say anything about the rooms. We went in on New Year's Eve to drink coffee. We drank champagne, whiskey, brandy, coffee and tea with chocolate. The coffee is delicious! Clean, very cozy, not a lot of unfriendly staff in the bar (minus a point for this). There are hussar clothes for photos and clothes for a young lady, which made me very happy!

My family and I really liked the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are polite and helpful. Conveniently located in the city center. The prices, in my opinion, are quite reasonable, buffet for 5+, we traveled with children, took only breakfast, the children are happy, we are calm.

The excellent location of the hotel delighted the sights all within walking distance, the view of the Volga is incomparable. The hotel is clean, comfortable, delicious breakfasts. Thanks for the welcome. I would like to come back again.

Were from 03 to 05 August 2021, for 2 nights in a room with a river view, they paid 9000. For this price, there is not even a bottle of water in the room ..
Rather, there is water in a small refrigerator, but for an additional fee (50 rubles). Also, when checking in, they asked for a certificate of vaccination, explained that this is a mandatory fact when registering. But if the answer was negative, the room was not refused.
There are only 2 glasses in the room, no plates, bottle openers, nothing. There is no kettle, but there is a cooler with hot and cold water on the landing. Poor soundproofing, neighbors talking in a calm tone. There is a door between the rooms, keep it closed. Things are bad with the drain in the bathroom of the room. Parking at the hotel, free.
Near the hotel there is an opportunity to ride a boat, the cost of 1 hour is 8000 rubles)))

A good hotel, not new, there are flaws, BUT it is located in the center, on the embankment, right next to the Volga, and the best restaurant in Kostroma

The rooms are nice, but it is better to choose with a view of the Volga. Hot water is always available. Slippers, shampoo and shower gel are provided. There is a Bath, you can also visit the bathhouse for an additional fee. Located near the city center, you can walk along the embankment. There is a restaurant opposite the hotel. The staff are welcoming. You can also have breakfast for an additional fee. Excellent breakfast: meat balls, cheese cakes, casserole, pancakes. A very pleasant hotel in the city center.
