The Cameo hotel is a bit too far away from the Winter Palace for ease of access but it isn’t too bad. The room was a good size, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very limited for western taste but better than nothing. Note, that you have to carry your own bag upstairs as they only have a dumbwaiter for luggage.

A very modest and fairly inexpensive hotel, with all the amenities and comfort for a nice city stay. The room was clean and quiet, beds and pillows were comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood. The breakfast was simple was included in the room price. Reception was very friendly and helpful. No compaints from me, will definitely return.

Excellent for a short stay. Clean rooms and nice staff. Close to the city center. Easy to reach the main places to visit.

Cozy and quiet place with good housekeeping service. Breakfast is a buffet with a nice variety of dishes. The only drawback during our stay was an unproven attempt to charge some amount of money for solving some migration issues (for non-Russian citizen).

I was there last week for four days in this Hotel. My impression: friendly staff, clean, very good location. The Breakfast has not quite met my taste, and I have no experience with other hotels in St Petersburg. For a short trip for Sightseeing, in my view, quite sufficient.
