Minus only for the hastily made rooms and unfriendly staff (hello to the individual at the reception who scolded my wife and child because they used the service toilet, apparently my daughter should have peed on the doorstep), everything else is fine. The restaurant is delicious, the territory is large and beautiful.

The weekend in the Donskoy Forest was unforgettable. I really liked the eco-house, the presence of animation for children and rental. There are many places for walking, nearby is a rope town with playgrounds .. The service in the restaurant for breakfast and lunch is flawless. But the dinner and the disco leave much to be desired: raw mussels were returned to the cook, the music was constantly interrupted...

Hotel "Donskoy Les" is located in a pine forest in a very beautiful place on the banks of the Don River. The air is clean, coniferous, the territory is large, but not huge. They offer bike and car rentals for children. Although, in my opinion, you can safely walk there on foot without transport, except for scooters for children. There is a descent to the Don River, but the beach is not equipped there...

Nice well-groomed territory, forest, near the don river. An excellent place for a basic location if you want to travel around the area: Kudykina Gora, Zadonsk, Skornyakovo and more. The food is good and tasty, but for dinner it's better in Skornyakovo, 30 min. by car. Not suitable for long independent rest: - the territory is tiny - the number of rooms is meager, the rooms themselves are very small...

After resting at the base, I decided for myself that I would definitely leave a review. And so, check-in at 17.00, which is not always convenient if you have small children. When booking a vacation, I was offered a room in an eco building for 7 people, at a cost of 7000 rubles. per day. There is a spacious yard for at least 4 cars. There are only 7 rooms in the house. Very polite mother. The house itself is right next to the monastery. We really like it here, this is not the first time we stay)

My wife and I are very fond of the Zadonsk Nativity-Theotokos Monastery and we always visit it on the road to Voronezh. After visiting the holy monastery, we will definitely have breakfast or lunch at the hotel opposite. The food there is simply amazing !!!

We didn't stay at the hotel itself, so I can't rate the rooms. But in the cafe at the hotel the food is very tasty. The downside is that not all dishes from the menu are available, especially in the evening. And they cook really well.
