Hostels in Moscow

Thanks for your hospitality, all as I expect but nothing more. Hostels to my opinion have two branches for travelers and workers. This is second one.

It is very clean, which is the most important thing any hostel/hotel should provide. Capsules are comfortable and private. The door for the capsules is head to open from inside.

a little gem in a good location to visit the city centre and red square near to 3 main line railway stations and suburban line and the Metro the place though small is kept immaculately by the very friendly staff Anastasia speaks fluent English and the others are very helpful the hotel provides an excellent kitchen because it is self catering and extremely reasonable prices well worth a visit

A perfect stay! The location is absolutely fantastic, just a 5-minute walk to the subway, making it easy to get to Independence Avenue and Victory Square. This place is perfect for solo travelers – it's affordable, and the location is great, right by a subway station. I actually came here on a recommendation. The mattress is really comfortable and springy. Just make sure not to disturb other guests during your stay. The only downside is that the washer and dryer are really inconvenient to use, especially if you don't understand Russian and haven't used...

Convenient transportation, service staff's English is average, but there is no big communication barrier. I had a layover in Moscow, and the capsule I slept in felt very enclosed, but everything else was fine.

The location is extremely convenient, 15 minutes from the Kremlin, and the price was also very pleasing. Friendly staff with good English and nice facilities

Portal hostel is a really good hostel in Moscow. It is ever clean, and comfortable. It is a cheapest hostel in Moscow. They had a good quality service for visitors. I prefer it.

The place seems to be quite new. It is sparkling clean here. The rooms are quite small and tiny but it is OK for a couple of nights to stay. It is pretty hot in my room - over 27 C so I can not sleep at all and the service team cannot help me at all. The free breakfast is perfect - it is tasty and varios.

I know that it's a budget hotel, but it would be really nice if it had air conditioning in rooms. They are so tiny (which is not a bad thing!) and they get extremely hot as there is no ventilation. Other than that, everything was excellent.

The service was unacceptable bad. First they said they didn't accommodate foreigners and then there were problems with the payment. Ostrovok managed to sort out the problems with the hotel but it took time and left a bad taste in the mouth.

Really nice hostel! Actually nicest one we stayed in Moscow! Although a little over priced. The capsules are very well maintained, ac in every capsule which really make it great! And extremely clean- which half the hostels in Moscow don’t care about. It was a little crowded for the amount of space but it was the worldcup when I stayed there.

Hostel Boxtel is a lovely place. It is very clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would definantly recommend as it is both affordable and comfortable. The beds are large for a single bed and it is hand have your our private space compared to a typical hostel.

We an OK stay here. Breakfast costs extra but it is good value for money. Our room had some mosquitos in it and there were mosquitoes in some of the showers. It takes about 40 minutes walking quickly to get to Red Square but there is a train station about 20 minutes walk nearby as well.

Hands down the best budget hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, always smiling unlike other Russians with sour faces. Booking and registration for foreigners is simple and convenient. You get a decent, clean, air-conditioned room for less than RUB 2000 per night.
