I found this to be quite an old-fashioned hotel. Honestly, whether it was the lobby, the room fixtures, the internet service, or the breakfast, I felt they were all just mediocre. But then again, most hotels in Moscow are pretty much like this, so maybe I shouldn't have expected too much. Overall, I personally don't think it offers good value for money and wouldn't particularly recommend it.
It was good, but the fact that the swimming pool charges extra is simply unacceptable. I'm already on a tight budget in Russia, so even though I brought my swimsuit, I couldn't go for a swim. However, the dinner menu at the restaurant was surprisingly delicious.

I've stayed here a few times and am quite familiar with the area, so it's very convenient. It's near the Russian Postal Savings Bank, the metro, and restaurants—everything you need is right there. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the heating is quite good. Getting around is convenient, although the facilities are a bit old. The breakfast selection is quite substantial.

check-in was very fast, from the start felt like they had everything under control. i was a bit confused about the parking levels, but the concierge explained everything very clearly, so no worries. the location of the hotel is nice and the view from the room was promising.

This is an older five-star hotel, but the bedding and breakfast were both excellent. It's also quite close to the train and subway stations. I had seen some reviews saying the breakfast wasn't good, which made me a little hesitant, but it actually exceeded my expectations. The best view in Moscow (make sure to book a river view room)! Former luxuriousness has faded (no turndown service, no plush towels, no exclusive bath cosmetics) but still a very solid 5-star hotel in an unbeatable location for tourists, and excellent value for money.
