Hills Hotel in Nizhniy Novgorod

In June 2025, my grandchildren and I visited the beautiful city of Nizhny Novgorod! We were left with vivid and unforgettable memories. We stayed at the Hills Hotel. It's a very decent hotel, located in the city center, with everything within walking distance. We were impressed with the excellent service, delicious breakfasts, and friendly staff. Special thanks to the receptionist, Ekaterina. I was having trouble with Yandex Taxi. So, Ekaterina ordered a taxi from her phone and didn't leave the hotel, even though her shift had ended, until she got us in the car. Ekaterina, thank you again for your kindness and concern! The hotel is within walking distance of the Gorkovskaya metro station and the city center.

Conveniently located. All the sights are within walking distance for those with good walking ability. It's about a 15-minute walk to Gorky Square, where the square transitions into Bolshaya Pokrovskaya and then the Kremlin. The receptionist, Alena, if I'm not mistaken, was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are cozy, clean, and warm. We stayed in freezing temperatures. The bathroom has all the amenities: disposable shampoos, shower gels, toothbrushes, liquid soap, and a set of snow-white towels (3). The water is boiling hot, which was nice. Slippers are provided. There are plenty of electrical outlets, which is important. There's a shared dining area with a refrigerator, kettle, microwave, disposable tableware, tea, a water cooler, and a TV. You can ask the receptionist for a hairdryer. If you're feeling cold, they'll even provide an extra blanket.

!!!The only thing I'd appreciate is at least one chair in the room, as there's nowhere to sit at the table. And a bath mat in the bathroom. It's a shame to lay out snow-white towels...

Conveniently located, within walking distance of the large Nebo shopping center, a 10-minute walk to the metro, and a 15-minute walk to the pedestrian Pokrovskaya Street. Clean rooms, a three-course breakfast, a refrigerator, microwave, tea, and coffee are included, so you can grab a snack anytime. Very reasonable price, breakfast included. Highly recommended!
