I am still staying at the hotel. It will be one of the few bad reviews I wrote on google map. Let me be clear , this my second visit to the hotel. In the summer it was good hotel to stay in but in the winter the floors are freezing! The breakfast is fair with enough options and live omelet Station. The dinner offered on the 1st Jan as part of the new year deal was poor and does not reflect Sheraton standards. It almost was made of the leftovers from the new year's dinner! It was fish and steak!! Same thing the night before. The room service menu needs to be reviewed as we called to ask for a salad and been told by the room service that it is not available!!! It was just salad! One last thing in the lobby bar there was a female waitress that when been asked to clear the receipt for order she reply with bad and high voice. I been traveling around the world and for me, I do regret my choice of this hotel for the new year event. One plus point. Many of the staff speak english , so it is english friendly hotel.

From one side - Kremlin, from other side padestrian street.
Breakfast is good.
Coffee espresso - amazing for Russia :)
Rooms are very clean!!!, spacious (even standart).
Service at Sheraton high standart.
Seems management is doing their job very well!
Will stay again for sure.

I have stayed at Sheraton and Marriott properties all across North America, Europe and Asia... The Sheraton Nizhny Novgorod is one of my absolute favorites! The staff is professional, friendly and super helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The common areas are stylish and classy.... and the hotel's downtown location simply can't be beat! Close to the Kremlin, coffee shops, excellent restaurants and nightlife. For those having access to the Sheraton Club , the roof-top lounge and bar is spectacular with wonderful views of the Kremlin, and in the distance, the Volga River. And unique amongst the the many other Sheratons I've stayed at, the Club is open 24 hours! Jet-lagged and in need of an expresso, or jet-lagged and in need of a glass of wine and an hors d'oeuvre, they are available anytime. Just fantastic! This hotel gets my highest complements.

Liked the spectacular view from club lounge. I would highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, club lounge has all kind of drinks that you can enjoy. Staff are friendly and professional. Will definitely stay again!

Really nice 5 stars hotel in city centar of Nizhny Novgorod. The main street is on 1 min walk from hotel. Food are excellent, rooms are big and clean, my room had a view on Kremlin, and it was really pleasure to stay in this hotel.

If you hit any panel accidently, you should pay 100 euro ! BTW I did not hit, Just tried to hold it incase of injury. But they saw me in camera when I hold it. It was separator.

This is a masterpiece of truly hospitality and comfort. In the heart of the city with a long history this hotel was a best place I relaxed this half of the year and I enjoyed their services and fancy restaurant. Highly recommend

What a horrible experience! Unprofessional staff, have no idea they are in the hospitality business. Don't expect a Western International brand here if you do you will be sadly disappointed. This hotel suffers from lack of leadership, training, poor staff and miserable employee moral. I would not stay here if it were free, not worth the aggravation. I am a Marriott Titanium Elite. If I get treated this poorly. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dumpster fire of a hotel..

Loved the Staff, they are super helpful and nice, specially Petr in Reception and Natalya in lounge.
I am vegetarian, in Russia its not easy for staff to understand this, I have stayed in more than half of Marriott properties in Russia, this one was best in terms of understanding my food restrictions / believes. Honestly, there is nothing wrong I can point out during my stay here, from pre-reception i.e. communicating on email to find out checkin / checkout time, during checkin to checkout .... everything was super smooth. Location is also very good, right on hill, next to Kremlin and happening places of city both business wise and otherwise.
