Hotel Kavkaz in Mineralnye Vody

For objectivity, I will name the advantages: good location and good renovation. Unfortunately, there is nothing more to praise.

The hotel was chosen in a hurry, since the plane was delayed, the flight arrived at 4 am and it was necessary to stop somewhere urgently, bought a high rating and generally normal reviews.

The first trouble happened upon arrival: the bed did not look fresh and someone's hair was found on the sheets. The girl-administrator confirmed that apparently some kind of slip came out and moved us to another room. The linen here looked clean, though terribly washed, but there was no need to choose.

In the morning, the hot water had to be drained for a long time (wait until it really gets hot), but they were ready for this from the reviews.

Further - more: in the afternoon we went to the city, and on our return we could not get into our room. We thought that there was some problem with the key and went down to the reception, but the administrator was not found there. As it turned out later, she went to the store (during working hours), and this was not the girl who settled us. When I asked if she could help me get into the room, she rather rudely replied that we had to leave at noon or extend our stay and demanded to pay for an early check-in. At the same time, the room was paid until the next day, when booking, I indicated the need for an early check-in (the hotel received a confirmation of the provision of this service for free) and at check-in at the hotel we were not told a word about additional fees. To all our explanations that we were not warned and we still will not stay overnight (we have a train) the administrator reacted boorishly, interrupted and referred to the fact that the girl who settled us did not work for long and was mistaken.
When we refused to pay extra, because we would have left on time if we had been warned in advance, and we are not going to pay for staff errors, the girl called the director and she advised her to call the police (!). We were eventually forced to move out immediately. This was not a problem, but a pity for the wasted nerves.

In general, perhaps we were wildly unlucky with the staff, but it seems that this is a normal situation (remember, the director suggested calling the police because we refused to pay for the miscalculation of their employee). And I haven’t come across such a boorish treatment from the hotel administrator for a long time (there was a feeling that I had communicated, sorry, with a bazaar woman).

People with weak nerves (and at least a drop of self-respect) do not recommend stopping here. My leg will not be in this "hotel" for sure.
