We stayed in the A-frame garden chalet. Great value for money. A bit pricey but totally worth it. They provide a complimentary drop and pickup to the ferry. Also we did not want to rent a bike on our last day and we wanted to go to the ferry, the staff was very helpful and accommodated our request.

The washrooms are open to nature, so you might have a few lizards joining you in the room

A/C helpful, but woefully undersized. Safe too small for a tablet.

I booked Rising Sun Guesthouse on half board basis and never regretted my choice. Food was very good, especially dinner, which offered a chance to try some excellent Creole dishes. Room was clean and comfortable, A/C worked very well, WiFi worked well in my room, but it was close to the reception, and it was free. Another good thing was location – it was close to the ferry, reachable on foot even with luggage. On the other hand, it was close to Union Estate and very close to Veuve Reserve – both areas I was interested in. Of negatives – there was some noisy music from the neighbouring private houses, but never at night. Also, it is not possible pay with card – prepare cash.

We had a wonderful stay at La Digue Island Lodge.
The staff was incredibly kind and always ready to help, which made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. The atmosphere of the resort is calm, relaxing, and truly special.

The little chalets are beautiful, cozy, and full of island charm, you can really feel the Seychelles vibe in every corner.
The food was excellent as well, with great quality and plenty of delicious options every day.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay, from the peaceful surroundings to the friendly service. It’s the perfect place to relax, explore La Digue, and create beautiful memories.

I highly recommend La Digue Island Lodge to anyone visiting the island
it’s an amazing place and we would happily return.

We stayed here last year and had a good experience and decided to return. Sadly it is very different this year. For a start the hotel is no longer a 4* as advertised and they have been demoted to 3* as evidenced by their plaque on reception. Arrival was fine, however on going to bed late we found that the mattress was broken and a huge hollow made it an extremely uncomfortable night and gave my wife a sore back. Reported to reaction first thing in the morning and told it would be replaced. Returned at 3pm and found housekeeping servicing the room who told me that it had been replaced but upon checking it hadn’t and they had just stuck a couple of waterproof over covers on! Spoke with duty manager who didn’t seem too concerned and advised they couldn’t change the mattress as no vacant rooms to take one from. Didn’t seem at all concerned when showed pics of huge hole in mattress. Beware if you are allocated room 52 as they aren’t interested in changing it! Agreed to change room but when we got back found new room door left lying open with all our belongings inside! Again reception not particularly interested. My main issue with this place is the lies and incompetence. The location is good!

Centrally located to the main attractions of the island. It is a short bike ride from the ferry and to the various beaches. The breakfast was great and the hosts even prepared a breakfast for me the night before, to enjoy the next morning when I needed to check out early.

I can't say enough good things about this place. First it is close to the village, supermarket, take away food etc. but it is also on the edge of a large nature preserve. You can see exotic birds and fruit bats especially in the mornings. Bike rental on premises. Great breakfast with frit, eggs, toast, crepes.Reasonable laundry service. Dinner for extra charge if you reserve at breakfast. Beach towels provided. Room was large, clean, with small sofa and a private pation. Bathroom was huge and clean. Daily cleaning and towell change. All of this with a welcome and pleasant smile. I very much enjoyed my 5 night stay here.

The room is hygienic and clean, the geographical environment is good, and the service is also very good. It is very good to help with booking a car and making reservations for meals.
