Overall, this is a good place to stay, especially if you’re looking for a self-catering apartment. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout the stay. The apartment itself is clean, tidy, and well maintained, making it suitable for families or larger groups who prefer cooking their own meals. One of the biggest positives is the location right on Grand Anse Beach on Praslin’s south coast. While the beach is scenic, it’s important to note that it is not suitable for swimming or snorkelling. A grocery supermarket is within walking distance, which is very convenient, and there’s also a nearby bus stop. The main drawback is the location on the other side of the island. There are no major attractions or activities in this area, so getting around is essential. Having a self-drive rental car is almost a necessity — bus services are infrequent, especially on Sundays when there are only about 4–5 buses running the entire day. Taxis are quite expensive, nearly twice the cost compared to Mahé. If budget allows, I would suggest staying on or near Côte d’Or Beach, even if it’s slightly more expensive, as it offers better access to activities, dining, and overall convenience. This property is best recommended only if you have a rental car and specifically want a self-catered apartment in a quiet area.
