We had an outstanding Deep Sea Fishing boat charter with Belle Petra Boat Charters. We have done quite a bit of deep sea fishing but this was the best. The owners - Hyacinthe and his wife Julette were responsive and communication was excellent. The crew of the boat were knowledgable and very professional. We caught fish on this occasion (Sailfish, Dorado, Tuna, Bonito and Wahoo) testimony to their capabilities and of course a bit of luck.

10/10! We spent three nights at Juliette's house and had a wonderful time in the Seychelles. Plenty of space, peace, and greenery. A fantastic price for La Digue – the package includes accommodation and a delicious breakfast. Every day we received eggs in various forms, toast, jam, butter, cheese, yogurt, juice, and coffee – after a breakfast like that, you're full all day long. Juliette's house offers bicycle rentals (fully functional, for 100 rupees a day – also a very good price).
The hosts have taken care of every detail of the house, and you feel very comfortable here.
The rooms are clean, with a refrigerator, a comfortable bed, and excellent air conditioning. Each room has a private bathroom and hot water.
Guests have access to a fully equipped, professionally cleaned, and spacious kitchen and a veranda. The garden is full of delicious orange trees.

A simple option for one night

It was suitable for us for one night on the island.

Pros:

Location: 10 minutes from the port
Breakfast: Quite filling.
Staff: Special thanks to Julia! She was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, allowing us to leave our bags after check-out and even take a shower before leaving.
Amenities: There's a shared kitchen where you can cook.

Cons:

Booking discrepancies: The voucher indicated a different address, which caused initial confusion.
Furnishings: Very basic, without any extra amenities.
Utilities: No Wi-Fi in the rooms.
Shower: The water isn't very hot.
Kitchen: Basicly equipped. We were missing salt, pepper, and oil. Some of the mugs were chipped.

Verdict: If, like us, you just need a place to stay near the port without any special comfort requirements, this option is suitable. Julia's kindness brightens the otherwise austere atmosphere. However, for longer stays or if you value comfort and consistent amenities, it's better to consider other options.

Basic and clean guesthouse. Full breakfast prepared and served by the manager. On the other hand, RUN AWAY FROM SAHRON, she scams customers by offering to prepare a fish dinner (200 rupees) in advance and then letting us choose the price we want to pay for the cooking service. She brings the dinner and then forces us to pay a substantial sum (80e) for smoked fish that isn't even fresh. Completely disappointed with the experience. I wanted to eat local food and I got SCAMMED. Be careful!!!!! The rest is fine but we preferred to leave rather than book an extra night.

The room was spacious, 20 square meters, with clean floors, fast air conditioning, and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The bed linens were also spotless, making it a very comfortable stay. It's a very good value hotel on the island.

Upon check-in, the owner pulled a tub of juice from the refrigerator and poured it out for me. He was very welcoming, and I could have unlimited coffee.

The breakfast was also excellent, with a large slab of butter to cut, cheese, milk, coffee, juice, and toast.

The hotel is very close to the La Digue pier, a 10-minute walk away, making it very convenient for boat trips.

There are several reasonably priced small supermarkets between the pier and the hotel, making it convenient for grocery shopping.

The hotel is also close to Anse Source d'Argent, ranked as the world's number one beach by National Geographic, and lives up to its reputation. The boss's family is located on the south side of the pier (turn right a few dozen meters after exiting the pier). It is the largest bicycle rental point on the island. You can rent a bicycle for a day for 100 rupees and ride to Grand Anse, one of the three beaches. It is then an 8-minute walk to Petite Anse.

We did a snorkeling trip with Belle Petra. We saw a turtle, sharks and loads of beautiful fishes. An instructor went in the water with us, looking after my parents as it was the first time for them doing snorkeling. Very appreciated! The snorkeling time and spots were great, no rush at all.

We left with the crew of the Belle Petra for a whole day, with snorkelling at Grande Soeur then at Félicité, and we had lunch on the magnificent Félicité beach. The skipper adapted perfectly to us and took great care of our young children! A lovely team and a boat in great condition. We were only 10 passengers, while we passed other boats carrying 16 people. Furthermore, the other boats were not entitled to the barbecue on the beach. Delicious barbecue, with chicken and fish as well as delicious local salads prepared on site. One of our best vacation memories! We recommend 100%! Thanks again to Hyacinthe and the whole team!

The place was dirty there were spider webs inside no breakfast..the owner was in cahrge of the ac telling us to turn it off each time we turned it on,it was very hot…we had 0 privacy literally none! She could barge in anytime and just walk around like tgeres nobody, i was in the shower she came in and tunerd the ac in the room of and looked at me in the shower then left Like ***? Never again this place!bs

I just used the boat trip not the rooms

The boat fishing trip was perfect.
the crew 2 nice locals who had fun and loved their job
The classic fishing tour whiuld have killed my vacation Budget but Bel Petra had a good solution made a win/win .
I also really loved the grill experience, the barracuda was yummy :-).
Ps: the two guys offered me to bring home my coach but i just gave it them because I lived in a hotel .
