Hotel Majerca

My wife and I stayed only one night because we planned to do a hike in the area. We would happily stayed longer at the hotel.
The room was fairly small but well lauded out. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a powerful shower and good quality toiletries.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We ate dinner in the restaurant which was very good. The wines were also good and the recommended dessert wine was superb.
Breakfast was very good too.
We would definitely stay again.

We visited the place for breakfast and lunch on the same day. The food and service were excellent, and you have a nice view of the mountains from the restaurant. If you're staying in Stara Fužina (or at the hotel itself), the restaurant is just a short walk away, but they do have a few private parking spaces if you're lucky to find a free spot. The restaurant was not particularly crowded when we visited, but you should consider making a reservation beforehand. The prices are slightly higher but not unreasonable for the area and quality.

A wonderful little hotel in a great location. It is a small place, so waiting staff doubles as reception crew. We got one of the smaller rooms. It was nice and clean with little gifts waiting for us. Bathroom products were high quality and there was a good variety of soaps, shampoos, lotions and so on.

The restaurant was nice, we had a really delicious dinner and good breakfast.

In terms of value proposition, especially when it comes to the restaurant, I think the prices are too high. However, most guests we met were from abroad and probably didn't really notice or care.

What an amazing restaurant! I loved everything about it! The food was delicious, the service professional and friendly, the decor inside is beautiful and outside on the terrace there’s a gorgeous view of the mountains, and I really enjoyed the music that was playing in the background. The prices were totally reasonable and the house wine was great (and cheap!) I would highly recommend this place!

My husband and I spent 5 days at Majerca hotel. We found our stay incredibly comfortable and appropriate for our travel style.
We enjoy big rooms with a proper desk for working remote and welcoming outdoor spaces. Majerca has it all...

We had a ground room with sauna (no view unfortunately because at the time of booking this was the only room left) , with a desk and a lot of space for luggage and a big couch.

What was really awesome was the outdoor garden with views to the mountains where we spent a lot of time working or just having drinks.

Breakfast was an experience in itself, outdoor and overlooking the mountains. We had a few dinners at the restaurant as well and they were all great.
We also tried several local wines, juices and tea during our stay and everything was really good and reasonably priced.

The staff is very friendly and we had several nice chats with them.

Another big benefit of Majerca hotel is the location close to Bohinj lake and countless hiking trails, biking routes etc... we did not move our car from the parking lot for the entire period we stayed at Majerca, as we were able to walk / bike everywhere.
