The professional and helpful staff and superb location give this rating a three. We were booked at this hotel for 2 nights while hiking the Alpe Adria trail. Hotel is literally on the trail route which is great. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were clean but in need of updating, especially the bathroom. WiFi really didn’t work. Breakfast was ok, has a coffee machine which I don’t like

Bathrooms are in need of a little TLC, mixer taps only no shower head to wall attachment. No ironing facilities. Parking limited. Early checkout 10am. However, beds were extremely comfortable, breakfast was superb.

Good breakfast, Basic Rooms The buffet breakfast is really good. The WiFi however, does not reach the rooms and is only available in certain parts of the hotel. The rooms are very basic and don’t have fans, or tea/coffee, or even a kettle, but are otherwise functional with a bed and a shower and not much else. Parking is very easily accessible on site and they offer parking off site at no extra charge...

Rooms are getting off-dated, however it was clean when we arrived! The fact that there are no A/C is ridiculous. We barely slept in a boiling warm room. The wifi did not function at all on our floor. I must say that the location is great and the breakfast was good. Overall the price seemed a bit too much for the experience ! But they were kind enough to offer a discount for the not functioning wifi...

We had to park off property as the hotel ran out of parking spots. Otherwise, great stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Alp

Great hotel nicely situated near the city centre and good spot for trips around. Super breakfasts - big choice, delicious porridge, humus, asparagus, friendly staff, big balcony with a view of mountains, wellness with sauna - extra pay but privacy.

Excellent geographic location for excursions along World War I trails. The hotel is welcoming. Both the Great War Museum in Caporetto (preferably with the museum's knowledgeable guide) and Mount Kolovrat, a faithful reconstruction of Italian military camps (trenches, observation points, and walkways), are worth a visit. Second time we have stayed at Boka Hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Owner took time to talk and take photos. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding. The hotel sits in a beautiful location with hiking trails close by. Will stay here again and would encourage others to do so. You won’t be disappointed.

Very nice hotel, comfortable room, good breakfast included. Very close to the Boka Falls, beautiful views of the surround mountains and the Soca river. Nice large, comfortable public balconies, self serve coffee and tea bars. Small private sauna (need to pre-book). Restaurant only does a set menu 4 course dinner, would be nice to have an ala carte menu. Would stay here again.

Realtime nice hotel with beautiful terrace, close to Boka waterfall. Helpfull and friendly staff. I thought it was a pitte that the menu was more or less the same 2 days in a row.

The hotel was quite nice and the food was excellent however we had a family room and the kids bed was a fold out chair it was slanted and terrible.

Staff were extremely friendly, they upgraded us to a nicer room, helped us out with renting bikes. Hotel room was lovely with some interesting DIY, but very clean and suitable for anyone. The area is amazing, with most basic amenities available within walking distance.

The staff is very nice and polite - Katrina was amazing. Hotel location is excellent with good parking. Rooms are dated and need major renovating. House keeping needs improvement. Daily cleaning of the rooms was at a very basic level with beds not being made at all. TV in the room was of a small monitor size Can’t fault the hotel for location and staff but definitely in need of serious renovation...

This was great to have an apartment with fully equipped kitchen. Laundry done and folded for 20 Euros and right next to the rafting rental place. Beautiful nature surrounding with short drive to all the sites. Walkable into town for bars and restaurants. Breakfast was worth it too lots of local delicacies.

We would come back to this fabulous hotel in a heartbeat. The owner and his staff were very warm, welcoming and very helpful. The decor is quite warm and inviting. Well done!!

I second all of the positive reviews here. Sadly my partner and I were only here for one night. But it’s the sort of hotel you don’t want to review but rather keep to yourself. A truly special place where attention is paid to every detail. We did not catch the name of the manager who was working alone the day we stayed, having given a colleague a day off. My wife and I stayed at Hotel Dobra Vila for three nights. It is a boutique hotel with 11 rooms. Its architecture and interior design are unique and beautiful. The inside has a retro feel (there is a 1932 motorcycle in a window overlooking the entrance) and modern feel at the same time, with sleek lines and excellent workmanship. We just loved this town, this area, and this hotel. We had a family room which was great - 2 single beds up a small flight of stairs and a big double bed with a sitting area. It was very comfortable. The breakfast was a buffet plus you could order fresh cooked eggs. Coffee was also to order. You could sit so nicely on the terrace which was very peaceful.
