No water bottle, no coffee in the room
The only downside was the elevators. They were quite slow, and during my stay the hotel seemed to be at full capacity. With only two elevators serving a large number of guests, wait times were often several minutes. In the mornings, the elevators were frequently full by the time they reached my floor, meaning I had to wait for the next one. The same issue occurred when returning to the hotel, as there was often a crowd of people queuing for the elevators at the entrance. But overall it was a good stay.
The surroundings of the hostel are lovely, and you can enjoy beautiful views from the room window (Figure 9), leaving guests with wonderful memories.
However, there were a few minor issues:
1. The sink drained slowly and was a bit clogged (Figure 10).
2. There were white impurities floating and sinking in the boiled water (Figures 11-12).
The breakfast doesn’t have great variety, but good enough to fill you up for the whole morning.
There was a sewage smell in the bathroom as other guests commented, but I do agree it is the problem of this old city (not caused by the hotel).
One thing to improve is the room cleaning, I found hair on the floor mat and bath towel, otherwise that would be perfect.
The pickled paprika served at breakfast was delicious.
I would definitely stay here again.
