Plasent surprise. Not an avarage hotel for sure. From very attentive stuff to beautiful facilities. My wife especially enjoyed swimming pool. Without hesitation I will stay there again.

This was my third stay here. The environment is beautiful, and it's only a 10 euro taxi ride to the city center. The breakfast spread is great, and there's a restaurant and bar downstairs. They have an indoor pool; it's not huge, but it's never too crowded.

The hotel was clean, but the rooms lacked ventilation windows; the glass windows were stuffy. It's about 5 kilometers from the old town, so you need to drive. There's a shopping mall behind the hotel with free parking. The mornings were also fantastic.

The hotel stay was generally pleasant, however the parking arrangement was inconvenient. On-site parking was very limited, and we were required to park our car at an alternative car park about a 10-minute walk away from the hotel. It would be helpful if parking availability could be improved or communicated more clearly in advance.

Excellent location, central to everything. The staff are excellent is all areas, front desk, buffet, pool, room service and housekeeping. The pool and sauna are excellent facilities and perfect to relax after a busy day walking and sight seeing. We love Ljubljana and Eurostars is a great place to stay to be close to everything. This place blew me away. Spacious room and bathroom and it was the cheapest room in the building. Super comfy bed. A quick walk to the old town. The Finnish sauna, spa and pool is great for relaxing. It is a very high standard hotel. The best. You would have to be hard to please to give this place a bad review.

The hotel was conveniently located near the bus station, just a couple of mins walk away. The breakfast offered a good variety of options tho it stayed the same each day. The hotel is well located: a 10-minute walk from the Ljubljana bus station and a 10-minute walk from Prešeren Square. The rooms are spacious and clean, but the hotel feels a bit dated—I think it dates back to the Yugoslav era, but I could be wrong. The breakfasts are excellent, continental style, with everything you need, so you won't go hungry.

City Hotel is very convenient to the Ljubljana train & bus station in Slovenia. Its location is also close to the Old Town with the iconic pink Franciscan church landmark. I was very surprised that hotel is using L'Occitane toiletries that I enjoyed very much. I'd recommend this hotel for someone who would like to stay near to public transport.

There are three bridges right outside the door, and the riverside scenery is picturesque, making it a perfect place for leisure and vacation.

Great hotel located within a pedestrian shopping street area. If you exit the hotel turn left and left at the next street and this will take you directly to the main square in the old town. If you have time schedule a visit to castle and take the train to the top. You can walk up and walk down but be warned it's steep. It’s centrally located, which is easy to roam around the city. Landmarks, bus stops, restaurants and late-nights bars are stone’s throw away. Also, the breakfast was exceptional and with great assortment of food. Lastly, the hotel provides high-quality toiletries.

The hotel is in a great location and has a great bar. The rooms and hallways are undergoing renovation (which is definitely needed!), but no one told us about it when we booked. That was an unpleasant surprise. The mistakes during check-in were resolved by a nice employee at check-out.

You can take the bus from the airport to the hotel; the fare is 4 euros per person. It's very convenient. The hotel is clean and tidy.

I found that the coffee maker with the choices (for tea and hot chocolate) was turned off. I don't drink coffee so this would have been a nice offer to have. Hotel is located exactly at the center, 15 mins walking to the central station. Receptionists are all friendly. Limited choices for breakfast and no kettle or coffee served at the room, the room is exactly facing the hospital office, which make it somewhat embarrassing if you open the curtain, and the curtain is too short to cover the whole window and light leakage could disturb light sleepers

The staff are helpful, I arrived very late due to flight time. But they came to check me in anyway at 2am after I called them ahead of time telling them my arrival time. I have been staying at the G Design Hotel in Ljubljana for a few years now and it continues to be my very favorite hotel in Ljubljana by far. Service is outstanding, staff is always cheerful, helpful, accommodating and polite. The quality of the included delicious breakfast is excellent and espresso, cappuccino and latte are made on demand by the ever pleasant and happy waiter & chef

Small cozy boutique hotel in the woods and what looks like an embassy area. Out big suite with hugh bath tub was so nice, and the pillows great. The food in the bistro much better than in the restaurant for our taste. But staff and everything was just topclass. Thanx. This is the place you wanna stay close to the city and a short walk through the beautiful park.

It was in a nice nature area, but you could still walk or take a short Uber into the main areas.the breakfast was great, and the bistro staff excellent.

I like the location very quiet in pedestrian super city center. We were group of 9 people, we appreariated to sit downstairs at social room, where is also microwave oven and electrical kettle. Some friends from group had breakfest and were very satisfied.

Great location, clean room, decent breakfast. Cons: Upon check-in, we weren't shown to our room or where breakfast was served; the room was cold at night, and the air conditioning, which could be set to a warm temperature, didn't turn on.

Parking was in the parking lot below Parliament Square. I was charged €23 for parking from 4:30 PM to 8:30 AM the next day. For reference. The location was indeed good, and the breakfast was okay, better than expected. Surprisingly, I was given a family room. I had to carry my luggage up and down the stairs myself, and there was no elevator in the parking lot.

The biggest plus is the location. You step out of the hotel and you're right in the center. Very convenient for travelers. The room is clean, well-maintained, and quiet. The breakfast is ample. We loved everything!

Ideally located just steps from the P+R, it's very easy to get to the city center. The beds are comfortable, the room is equipped with a small fridge, and the bathroom is very well designed.
