We really enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was great and hot a lot of tasty options. It was nice being close to the city center but in a nice quiet area. They were very accommodating and there was plenty of parking available.

The service was amazing, bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast had a lot of offerings. Wonderful stay.

The most satisfying hotel during our 28-day European tour! The location is very good and convenient, not far from the train station and the old town. The room is spacious and comfortable, using L'Occitane amenities. The breakfast is perfect, you can drink champagne and freshly squeezed juice in the morning! Must give full marks!

The hotel is in a great location and has a great bar. The rooms and hallways are undergoing renovation (which is definitely needed!), but no one told us about it when we booked. That was an unpleasant surprise. The mistakes during check-in were resolved by a nice employee at check-out.

Hotel is in the center of Ljubljana, 5 minutes walk from Prešeren Square. The hotel is clean with large and comfortable rooms. Breakfast for all tastes. It's about self-service. Staff is very professional and always willing to help. City hotel has an underground garage at your disposal which you need to book. The price of the garage space is 18 euros per night

A very smart hotel. Clean, tidy and friendly staff. I was really impressed with the restaurant and bar areas, and the room was one of the best I've stayed in and I've stayed in quite a few. They even let you use their bikes for free! No catch. Breakfast was perfect. Continental buffet style but there's a lot of choice.

We are staying not in Grand hotel union, but in Grand hotel union businesses (it is located just beside, buildings of the two hotels are connected) and it's great. Very kids friendly (during summer they even offer a babysitting service in the afternoon, so parents can have a little break), nice facilities, very good breakfast, great location. It feels comfortable in all senses.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Ljubljana. Luxury and clean rooms. One big advantage is of course sauna, swimming pool and small fitness. BUT if you are not satisfied with that you can go to the second one thats contractual partner of hotel and its more than the hotel "monkey park". Regarding the service I can not claim it was professional and on high level! Just one point down is smelly air conditioning...

We had a room with castle view & balcony on the 9th floor. Couldn't have asked for better accommodation. Two minutes from the old town main square. Rather than booking online, give them a call instead. You may get a better deal or a better room that way.

Location is a good, my friends are mostly living out of town so they can pick up me easily, downstairs got many coffee shops, restaurants, and still can walk to city centre. The lobby is big, many seats, the room is clean, tidy and bright. The breakfast buffet is very taste, I am sure I will choose this hotel in next trip.

First of all the location is perfect for this kind of arhitecture. Parking is provided by the hotel and totally free of charge (guests only). The staff is super polite. As for the rooms, they are super comfortable. We took a room with a balcony, the huge windows are a must have for this kind of acommodation. Food in the hotel bistro is tasty.

Beautiful, calm with friendly staff. The surroundings, restaurant and the room itself are the best combo for quick relief. Sometimes I found the food smells from adjacent restaurants bothering my peace while enjoying the patio. But wasn’t that bad. Will definitely come again.

It was utterly relaxing experience there. The hotel maintenance on top level, comfortable and cozy rooms, location gives possibilities to walk around and enjoy the view, friendly and helpful personnel, the kitchen is remarkably tasty 😋 and after all this comfortable beds and pillows. We stayed in room 701 and my kids said it was by far the best hotel room they have ever stayed in (and wanted to move in permanently). We got an awesome deal on a suite, so that was great! The location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance. The safe was small and not mounted to the wall, so our valuables had to be with us at all times. Breakfast was very basic, but totally okay. The off-site parking has a tricky entrance, but the lot is well lit, super clean, and even has nice music playing.

For a 3-star hotel they provide great service. The rooms are small, WiFi isn't that good and if you're 6ft tall you'll have a lot of trouble showering. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Outstanding suite with every amenity imaginable! Great bed, pillows, towels. Very nice breakfast and dinner. Super wine selection. Great hotel with well trained and very friendly staff. The location is very conveniant too, one can walk into the city centre (along a very busy road), the alternative is a taxi service (6 euros each way) that can be arranged by the hotel. The room was spacious and rather modern, the bathroom well equipped and comfortable. The parking is ample and the breakfsat was all very good.

A place to stop over for our journey from Croatia to Salzburg, decent breakfast spread but limited space for a room to accommodate 3 adults.

It was a wonderful stay in a 400 year old, beautifully renovated boutique hotel. Not only we had a warm welcome, furthermore many details about the hotel and its history will remain in my memory. The rooms are really nice, spacious and clean and the lovely and helpful owner is really adding to the charm of the hotel. The Breakfast buffet was perfect with savoury scrambled eggs on demand. Comfortable little hotel. Priced reasonably and with friendly staff. Clean and neat. Unfortunately, the power went out in my bedroom while I was there (the bathroom light remained functional), but would still stay here again.

I see many complains about noise. I have to say that we had none in the 9 nights we stayed at that hotel. Service is great, breakfast is good to get you going, especially for the price. Room was always clean. AC, TV, storage, and very modern bathroom.
