We booked this stay as ‘Hotel Pristan’ a 4* hotel; the confirmation came back from a Motel Barka, and we ended up staying in what is in reality a student residence. The explanation is simple: the old Hotel Pristan is no more, it has become a student residence, that is marketed under the name of Motel Barka. *********** should be more honest and transparent to completely remove the Hotel Pristan 4* description from its website. Checking is a bit of an ordeal – you have to ge to the 2nd floor of a neighbouring student hostel that functions as the reception to get your keys. There is no staff on site in where your room is, the Motel Barka. There is some free parking, but a few hundred metres from your room, at the student dorm site. Having said that, the room was surprisingly large, bright and comfortable, with a large refrigerator, a cooking top, air condition and balcony. Surprisingly, there is no TV in the room. The Wifi worked well, and the old town is about a 15 min walk away. All things considered, an acceptable and even comfortable room, but don’t expect hotel facilities.

Hospital Receptionist, clean spacious rooms, decent breakfast. The time I visited restaurant was working only for breakfast, but there are restaurants nearby.
