Great Location, typically spanish The hotel catered very much for the Spanish, by that I mean the times of the restaurants - breakfast 8 - 11am, lunch 1.30 - 3.30pm and dinner 8 - 11. So if you are an early riser or have children ! We have lived in Spain so didn't bother us too much. Pools also didn't open until 11am which was disappointing as it was so hot. It was a great discovery. Wonderful location. Stunning surroundings. The hotel was very nice, with excellent facilities and, above all, the staff was wonderful. Very attentive, friendly, and always smiling. Our visit was a pleasure. We will definitely return.

Great location and facilities. It was my birthday and I appreciated the bottle of bubbly in my room. The cleaning staff were were very friendly. The indoor pool was lovely. The only problem was that we booked the hotel because it had a spa but the hotel did not inform us beforehand that it was closed during the two days that we were there. That was very disappointing.

Went here on a Saga holiday and had a great time. Room clean and bed comfortable. Food a bit repetitive but generally good. Staff all friendly and helpful - special thanks to Esmarelda and Lucian. Short walk to small friendly village with good fish restaurants. Great place for birdwatchers with good walks from the hotel. Would be happy to go back again

Great experience with my family. My daughter of almost 3y.o enjoyed the pool, food. The only thing is the activities are only for kids over 4y.o which it does not give the opportunity to the youngers to join even if the parents around. The transfer offered by the hotel to a virgin beach is also interesting and very familiar beach to visit. One point of attention: there is no bathroom there so ensure...

I don't normally leave bad reviews but having stayed at a few El Fuerte hotels in the past, including this one, I feel obliged to comment. First the room we stayed in was looking very tired and needs some refurbishment. Some of the food in the buffet was well below standard for El Fuerte. Great resort ideal for golfer and small family. The staff was very welcoming. The buffet is expensive for what it is, i recommand you go eat outside the site if you want a nice supper.

Brilliant place for small groups. Fantastic place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the kitchen and lounge make it really comfortable. The spa is basic but ok for 12 euros. The gym lacks big weights but has enough to keep active.

Apartment at Precise. Apartment was run down. Bathrooms were very old and dated. The hotel portion was lovely!!

The room and resort were nice. the reception staff were excellent. The breakfast was a huge disappointment...and it cost about the same as the room itself and the charge for our 2 year old daughter was similar to ours. Would not do that again

Enjoyed our stay in the apartment complex. Very satisfied with our stay in the apartments. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which had all the facilities we needed. Very friendly staff that answered any questions politely and helpfully. Food was good with plenty of choice although the buffet style could mean it was, on occasion, not hot enough. Good choice of pools and bars.

Wonderful little Spanish oasis! The spa treatment from Nieves was incredible - a definite must here :) Very comfortable and clean, does what you need it to do at this hotel. Always get a sunbed. Just had a great holiday at The Garden. I went as a solo as I needed to get away from teaching!!! This is a high quality place for a holiday. The hotel , pools and surroundings are beautiful. Great place for family holidays. Perfect breakfast. Rooms are equipped with small kitchen and even dishwasher! The only minus - no slippers)🥿 Nice indoor spa with good price 12 eur per adult and 6 eur per child (children allowed till 15:00), reservation is needed. Will miss you❤️

One week golf trip for couple of experienced golfers. Spacious, comfortable room, nice and quiet, with balcony. Buffet breakfast had lots of cold options, but limited hot food. Same for dinner - quality of cooked meat not brilliant, but salads and desserts excellent. Golf was very enjoyable - preferred South Course (played 3 times) to North (played twice) - allow 5 minutes in buggy or 10 minutes...

There is nothing bad about this resort, it has many nice features but on the whole it is slightly above average. The rooms are fine if a bit dated, the food is OK, the pool is good (though the animation team blaring unwanted music throughout the day is not good - thankfully the pool is large enough you can get away from it). I also emailed 4x ahead of our booking with some questions that went completely...

Very nice hotel, facilities and staff. Pepe down at the pool side bar really made our stay a good one. Food was a little mixed but still reasonable enough. Only played the south course due to a mix up on the day and was challenging enough.

Everything was brilliant, rooms, food, staff and the golf and golf shop. All the staff were friendly and made you feel very welcome. Loved the live entertainment as well.

Excellent week with 5 rounds of golf. 4 couples in our group, and no complaints with hotel or golf courses. We had the semi all inclusive deal, which is drinks between 5pm and midnight at the pool bar, restaurant and lounge bar. We found this to be really good value. Booked with golf breaks and very happy with the deal we got.

When we arrived at the Nuevo Portil Hotel we were warmly greeted by Francisco, who was very fluent in English and explained everything to us very detailed. It was simply amazing and exactly what you would expect from a 4* hotel. They took the time and explained us how everything worked at the Nuevo Portil and was even okay with our unreasonable amount of questions. Breakfast is reasonably priced...

accommodation was very good great facilities, staff were amazing. quality of food was great.

Only problem booked golf with a buggy due to wife's incapacity. First day was so busy took over 5 hours to play 13 holes, so we did not complete the round. Second day no buggy available for our tee time so the golf has been a waste of time.

Nice golf hotel with an excellent service. All staff very professional and the concept off three different choices at the three course dinner worked well. The golf course was in good shape and the greens held high standard. Unfortunately the driving range did not at all meet the standards. Old golf balls hard as stones. Kind of surprised you had to pay for them. But still I enjoyed my stay.

Was here on a golf break with a group of 9. The hotel itself was in great condition, and the staff made it a wonderful experience. The food was great, service was excellent. 10/10 will go again
