SubUp Hostel in La Manga del Mar Menor

This hotel caters for retired people coming on governmental funds. Accordingly the "food" is absolutely despicable. If you care about taste, variety, freshness, presentation... PLEASE do yourself a huge favor and do not come to this place. It is actually a shame to witness, for a "4stars" hotel, such non-caring for what they serve their clients. A real joke as "food" comes.

The location is great and the ocean view gorgeous but that's about it. The staff was rude, the food was really bad and the sunbed system is not great.

Honestly, this hotel was such a disappointment. For a 4-star place, the food was terrible! We booked full board, but we couldn’t eat anything — it was that bad. We ended up going out to eat every day, which completely defeated the purpose of paying for full board. They even charged us just to sit on the benches by the pool, which is ridiculous. And we couldn’t use the indoor pool because they said we had to buy swimming caps — something they never mentioned before. For the price and the supposed “four-star” rating, this place was a huge letdown. Definitely not worth it!

We are staying at the hotel and I just wanted to express my disappointment with the firm... I don't understand how it can be so lacking in both variety and quality... Of the 7 towns visited plus the capital, we have only had 3 guides for the capital and 2 towns, the rest at our own pace and without a guide. Of course, I will never take an insertion trip, since you seem deceived and it shows that this is done just to please someone. It is more worth it to order online, reserve and in the end you will surely win in all aspects. I hope that people like my wife and I, with 63 and 66 years behind us, apply it, since we had taken it as a test, and it has been disastrous.
