Had a vacation week with family. The hotel is nice but clearly is not an outstanding hotel. Bedrooms felt a little empty but were clean and comfortable. Breakfast complete but I missed some more fruit variety! Might return for the marvellous beach and sea!!!

Everything was absolutely wonderful, except for the staff at the terrace with the artificial grass. They kept changing the price of a certain wine from one day to the next. It was the same brand, but they claimed the label was either red or blue and that the price would differ—without even asking which one you wanted. The hotel has everything, no need to get a taxi. Bar at beach is amazing with dj from 6pm to 10pm following by another bar by the pool and then disco. The Japan restaurant is beautiful & delicious . Totally recommend this hotel

HELLO, I HAVE REALLY ENJOYED MY STAY AT THIS HOTEL. WE CAME FOR THE WEDDING OF MY FRIEND. EVERYTHING WAS NICE. CHECK-IN WAS QUICK AND EASY. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND PERFECTLY FURNISHED. What a place! The staff is super friendly and helpful, they even stored our bikes for the night. The room was big and clean, with a beautiful view on the hotel architecture (it looks like a castle!). We enjoyed the crystal clear pool and the amazing, peaceful bar. The breakfast buffet was also very good. The internal decor has very good taste and during the night it was very quiet. It was an overall nice experience. The staff was super kind and patient with us. The hotel has a pool that’s open from morning to evening and they have rental bikes and a transfer to the beach available. However, the AC didn’t really cool the room even after six hours, so we spent most of the night trying to find ways to cool down ourselves. Another thing is the lack of noise isolation the rooms...

I came here once when I was a kid, it’s nice to see how they improved the whole place in terms of quality, comfort, service, everything was better! The buffet had nice food and there were plenty of parking spaces outside the hotel; the beach is extremely close to it, so this gives the hotel more points. I just missed some kind of workout zone.

I have been with my partner three times this summer. All right. Very friendly staff (reception, chambermaids and restaurant waiters). The second and third time they gave us welcome details and one of the times they put us in a superior room to the one we had reserved (a kind of Junior Suite in a tower). fantastic prices.

The hotel is very good. Good attention from the staff. The room is spacious, the only thing is that the bathtub does not have a screen or a curtain...so when you shower you soak the floor and the bathroom does not have natural ventilation. The buffet is great. They have quite a variety and the food is delicious, but keep in mind that in the case of half board, drinks are not included at lunch or dinner...

All the people working at Carabela are fully involved with the customers, they have full of activities for children and adults.

A bit far (for walking) from the beach. Pool is OK and the garden furniture is good. Restaurant is sometimes crowded but the food is fairly good; for the people more picky there is a cook with a hot-plate grilling fish or meat. Staff is OK. Also, the rooms and bathrooms could use some renovation. Well, it is a good hotel but does not seem like a 4 star... I would say a 3 star...

Rooms need renovation. Buffet breakfast is ok but has plenty of room to improve (fresh juices for example). Price was pretty cheap though. Everything was correct & acceptable. Overall, not bad, fair enough

Great location. Good value for money. Clean and comfortable, and great service from the staff. This is the second time I’ve visited. The first time there was a really big problem with the plumbing, they found us other accommodation in a different hotel and couldn’t have been more helpful with a very stressful situation.

It was an Ok experience, the rooms are clean and well maintained. The place was empty but they still don’t let you park inside their village unless you pay 10€ per day. Coffee machine is filtered coffee, but they don’t provide the filters or the coffee, which made us buy it just for one or two cups. Matalascañas was completely empty with restaurants closed. It only opens in summer.

Great place - quiet (in November at least) and close to the beach. Great for family biking. I guess in high season it's getting very crowded but in low season it's a great place to rest.

Clean, super comfortable beds and close to the beach. Staff were friendly and easy check in. Wrist bands for key are great idea. Has a nice pool area too. The only things I would change are the lights in the living room are too bright and the shower leaked. We will definitely stay here again.

Cleanliness of 10. Nice cozy and very good views. Excellent I only stayed one night but I would repeat. It's a shame the weather was bad because I didn't even know it had a pool. Very good price, I went on a Thursday.

It is a good place overall. Small, Clean, quiet, and it does serve the purpose of the vacation. They don’t serve food/breakfast. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Beautiful family hotel, with a lot of charm. They have a lot of details with the client. The spacious rooms, everything super clean, fridge with freezer, very comfortable bed. In the hall they have coffee, infusions, cookies, microwave. Very close to the beach 🏖 with many shops, bars. We will return without a doubt.

This was our third stay at Hotel Doñana Blues and will hope to be back again later this year or again for La Romería. The staff are friendly, helpful and quickly responsive to any need we expressed. We have stayed in three different rooms on three different ocassions and all are comfortable, private, and opening out to a beautifully maintained maintained shady tropical garden.

A charming little hotel near all the amenities of Matalascañas. Beautiful gardens and pool make for delightful surroundings. Each room has a little patio which was candlelit in the evening. The rooms are typically Spanish with good air-conditioning, spotlessly clean and everything you need. The shower in our bathroom was fine but the shower leaked a bit and needed replaced. An absolute gem of a place. The rooms are super comfy and really clean, shower is great, hot and good pressure! The gardens are immaculate. the owners and staff are very friendly, and you can tell they are passionate about providing a beautiful experience. Little cute touches, like lighting a candle on the patio table every night. It made the return home every night so welcoming 🥰The pool is so refreshing...
