The service was very good. The staff were helpful and courteous. The front desk team spoke English so we didn’t have trouble in communication. However, we had a situation that I will write about, but this incident did not affect my rating to the hotel and to our experience because it is associated with one particular employee whom I was told has been an issue for the hotel.
The incident: when we first checked in the front desk guy told us we don’t serve breakfast, but we have complimentary drinks all day. So we ended up getting coffee every morning for the duration of our stay (5 nights). At the time of checking out, we found out that coffee was not complimentary and we were asked to pay for them. At no point in time we were told we had to pay for the coffee explicitly. The amount was not significant of course, but we thought it should have been made clear and explicit from the start including the prices of the drinks. We settled it and that when we were told that the employee in question had precedence.
The hotel is not right next to the beach but it is easy to walk to the beach, the supermarket and all the restaurants from there.
We didn't use the pool, because we went to the beach instead, but we used the kitchen area every morning because although there is no fridge you can keep your stuff in the fridge downstairs and eat your breakfast there.
