Hotel Victoria Matalascañas in Matalascanas

Well signed and easy to find , very well presented inside and out lovely spacious room with great bathroom and good shower lovely friendly host and hot tea or coffee available free from reception . Brilliant place to stay and lovely beach just down the road

The photographs do not do it justice. Both the interiors and exteriors of the hotel is very well maintained, extremely clean and the ambience is 'home from home' with excellent customer service from all staff. The bed linens and towels are good quality and clean. The location is a short and pleasant walk to Matalascanas beach. The beach itself is amazing - beautiful Atlantic waves, soft and pale sand across a very wide beach and runs 6km long. The only disappointment, but as I understand it, it is soon to be resolved is the Matalascanas town. It is very run-down and offers very few facilities with an awful funfair (in hgih season) right next to the beach. The shops and grocery facilities is almost nil and those they do have are old and run down. However, the beach itself is worth the visit and Hotel Victoria will make you feel extremely welcome. Don't forget to check with the local town planning department when the works to the town will be completed because it is expected to change the look of the paseo etc. The council have 40 million Euros to spend on the area with a chunk of 4 million to spend on the beachside areas and buildings.

Owner very friendly. Room clean. Unfortunately we have been in low season and the town was empty.

Great service! Free drinks (tea, instant coffee, sweets). We were even allowed to borrow an umbrella for the beach.

Room was good, but for the price we would have expected a little more. The bed was very hard.

Beautiful family hotel, with a lot of charm. They have a lot of details with the client. The spacious rooms, everything super clean, fridge with freezer, very comfortable bed. In the hall they have coffee, infusions, cookies, microwave. Very close to the beach 🏖 with many shops, bars. We will return without a doubt.

A charming place where no detail is lacking in the room. Cleaning ten and exceptional treatment. The room has nothing to envy to one of the most stars. 100% recommended

You get what u pay. Book a room in first floor then u will get a terasse which makes a difference. Clean rooms - nice recption lady. Beach is five walking minutes. Everything clean. 5 Stars for a hostel.
