Owner of the hotel is super friendly, I received room with private bathroom even though I booked a room without private bathroom.

Stayed in this good little hostal in March 2016.
Ferdinand may not have been "El Guapo" but he was very friendly and hospitable.

Fernando el guapo was amazing and so welcoming. He recommended casa basillo to us. And recomended the hostal in granada. Would go back to stay again. My only issue...the water heater..but now I know. My fault for having it up too high. :)

Owner is a super nice guys the hostel is in the best location and the room was very nice. Also next to the taxi stand which was amazing. Gracias por todo 🙏🙏✨

We stayed at this place and absolutely satisfied with kindness and trust by Mr. Fernando. He provided us a good size room and was available for any question we had. We'll visit here again for sure. The location is absolutely so convenient for tourists.

A peaceful little gem ! The friendly owner takes good care of pilgrims. Clean and comfortable, this is a lovely place to stay. I hope to come back. Highly recommendable ! Gracias Fernando ! 😊

nice pal at the desk but I'm afraid the price won't match your expectations. I repeat myself amazing treatment of costumers. rooms not very comfy and humid. once again very kind with the costumer. a refurbishing would be ideal.

Absolutely awful chef was rude when I told him the meat was raw! I asked for well done he told me I didn't like meat!!! I am the customer doh!! The 25 euro was for basically a bottle of red wine - ok, 4 potatoes between 2 - wow! Then the meat which was fatty and I couldn't eat it, my partner ate a little, but even he said it wasn't nice! Charged for salad 5 euro which was a huge bowl of lettuce, 2 tomatoes and some avacado, left quickly paid the expensive bill and had a meal elsewhere! Avoid like the plague!

This is a remarkable restaurant. The food is primarily Uraguayan/Argentinian in nature and beautifully complimented with local red wines. The menu is in both English and Spanish but not very much English is spoken. However the owner and staff are very helpful and try to explain items as best as possible. It seems a greatly appreciated courtesy if you show interest in the cooking techniques and the history of the restaurant. My wife and I visited twice because it was so enjoyable.
