It's alright, I can't really say whether it's good or bad.

The environment is average, the facilities are old, it's hard to believe it's a four-star hotel. It's very close to the new main cathedral of Salamaca, and there's a supermarket next to it, which is convenient. But the hotel is average, the front desk service attitude is also average, oh, there's no kettle! There's no hot water if you want it, and there's no business desk.

The room is average and cheap. It was a bit cold when I went there. The air conditioning was not good enough and there was no kettle.

Room was wonderful met all of our needs

Hotel close to the center, 10 minutes walk, large and somewhat dated. Each floor is a huge hallway with the rooms on one side. Something cold and impersonal. Good price and good service.

It's conveniently located just 10-15 minutes across the bridge to the cathedral. Recently renovated, it's clean and has wooden floors, so you can enjoy a comfortable stay without worrying about dust. The view of the cathedral directly from your room is especially unforgettable. Staying at the Parador is the reason I came to Salamanca.

Everything was perfect. You pay for the city views, the spacious gardens, and the free parking, plus a 10-minute walk to the city center, which includes crossing the magnificent Roman bridge. The service was excellent. The breakfast, for the price, could be more varied and complete, but it was adequate. The facilities, services, and cleanliness are what you'd expect from a Parador hotel—very good.

We stayed here for 2 nights from 23/9/25, we prebooked half board Paradors can be a bit hit and miss, but this one was definitely a hit for us. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, about a 20-minute walk from the city center, passing the ancient Roman bridge. The views of Salamanca's old town from outside the city are excellent. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. After exploring the city, you can easily find a restaurant for lunch and drinks in the main square, then take a taxi back to the hotel – very convenient.

Although it's an older hotel, it was cleaner than expected; the bedding and towels were spotless, and the front desk staff were exceptionally attentive, exceeding our expectations. We drove here, parked at the hotel, and walked to the old town – a very easy and pleasant experience!

Overall, my experience was positive. The facilities are well maintained and the room was comfortable. It's a property that delivers on its promise and I would recommend it for a hassle-free stay.

We stayed at this hotel by chance when we visited Salamanca. It really surprised me. The room facilities were very good, the breakfast was also good. The service staff was very friendly.

CLEAN and quiet. Walking distance to Roman bridge which is a good starting point to visit historical center. Friendly staff. Paid parking at a reasonable price. There are also free parking option on streets around the hotel. Receptionist Sara helped us with local food suggestions and places. And, there is also a free and very detailed city guide at the hotel for customers.

Rooms were big and fairly clean. However lacking in a lot of amenities such as tissues (they give you a small packet with about 3 tissues!), no garbage can in room (just a tiny one in bathroom), no courtesy bottled water. The breakfast was average but only one coffee machine so there’s long line up’s.

We had a wonderful visit. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, in particular Christian Perez who was the receptionist on duty when we arrived. Despite not having booked, and they were hosting 2 different events at the time of our arrival, the reception staff managed to organise with chef to provide dinner for us.

The Hotel Alameda Palace in Salamanca is an old and very opulent hotel in the heart of the city. While most of the hotel is very beautiful and opulent, small things like door locks and lifts are not up to scratch. There are plenty of attentive staff and rooms are clean.

A very old but renovated hotel in good location. Within walking distance to shopping area. The only less impressive was the buffet breakfast and only a few choices.

This is an Italianate inspired hotel with acres of marble and mirrors. Everywhere you look are reproductions of old masters and in each room and the hallways are pieces of reproduction furniture, chests of drawers and desks. Our stay at Artheus Carmelita’s Salamanca was wonderful ! The hotel is very charming and inviting. The decor is eclectic with an old world charm. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The hotel is overpriced in my opinion. Long walk to the room, pool was closed, we were not the only people asking (understand it's time of year but it was 28 degrees outside). There are many restaurants nearby, but they stay open quite late, which is very convenient. There's also a supermarket and a 24-hour convenience store not far away. There's a Chinese restaurant nearby; the hygiene is so-so, but it has long opening hours.

Although the facilities are a bit outdated, the location is very good. It is adjacent to the community park and is within walking distance of the old city. The surrounding area is quiet. A very pleasant hotel in the city center. The room and bathroom were a good size with nice decor. The breakfast was also varied and had everything you need. The hotel doesn't have parking, but there are nearby parking lots with an agreement with the hotel for a discount. When I go to Salamanca, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

From the moment arrived we were blown away. The personalized service was unmatched by the extremely friendly staff. They assisted with recommendations around the city, making reservations and arranging transportation to the train station. It's hardly fair that it's rated 4 stars; it's more like 3, and that's a fair assessment. I don't understand how such an old hotel with no amenities can have such a high rating. The spring beds are awful; sleeping there is horrible.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location, yes some of the décor might be a little dated but that adds to the charm, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and the secure car park for 11 euros was great as i was on a motorcycle, I stayed in air BNB 2 months ago which cost 300 euros a night and was not a touch on this hotel. So excellent value for money and the breakfast was typical for this region.

It's OK Location was good but the hotel is a little tired inside and could do with some updates. We did not try the restaurant so can't comment on food. They offer free electric car charging but the charging area is impossible to access as it is packed with delivery trucks and other vehicles. Very poorly thought out.

I had a great night's sleep and it was delightful being just off the Plaza Major which is a very special place. All in all, a great place to explore historic Salamanca from. It was very cheap but a good place to stay, certainty for a night.

Bad entry but great hotel. The situation of the hotel is perfect seconds from the main square. The staff are excellent. The steps were extremely difficult and my wife struggled a great deal. We just happened to be there on the last night of a week long celebration of concerts. ‘Europe’ were fantastic and having keys to the hotel got us priority entry. Would definitely return in the future.

The hotel is clean and very centrally located, just steps from the main tourist attractions in the city center. The breakfast is varied and of good quality. The staff is friendly. However, the poor soundproofing of the rooms made it difficult for us to sleep one of the two nights we were there, as we could hear the noise from the street and neighboring rooms.

Please be careful when entering the parking lot if you have wet hands.

Excellent hotel, very well located. The only issue was the room's soundproofing, which wasn't ideal; we were disturbed by a guest in a neighboring room during the first night. The staff were cooperative and tried to find a solution. However, the hotel was full, so we ended up using earplugs.
