Salamanca, Avenida Villamayor, 31 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
It's alright, I can't really say whether it's good or bad.
The environment is average, the facilities are old, it's hard to believe it's a four-star hotel.
It's very close to the new main cathedral of Salamaca, and there's a supermarket next to it, which is convenient.
But the hotel is average, the front desk service attitude is also average, oh, there's no kettle! There's no hot water if you want it, and there's no business desk.
The room is average and cheap. It was a bit cold when I went there. The air conditioning was not good enough and there was no kettle.
Room was wonderful met all of our needs
Hotel close to the center, 10 minutes walk, large and somewhat dated. Each floor is a huge hallway with the rooms on one side. Something cold and impersonal. Good price and good service.
Good location and nice rooms, can easily access the city

Big and nice rooms, newly renovated/built hotel, amazing dining.
It's conveniently located just 10-15 minutes across the bridge to the cathedral. Recently renovated, it's clean and has wooden floors, so you can enjoy a comfortable stay without worrying about dust. The view of the cathedral directly from your room is especially unforgettable. Staying at the Parador is the reason I came to Salamanca.
Charming atmosphere and beautiful views of Salamanca and its cathedral. Very attentive staff. Modern facilities and great-sized rooms. 25 minutes pleasant walk to the downtown.
Everything was perfect. You pay for the city views, the spacious gardens, and the free parking, plus a 10-minute walk to the city center, which includes crossing the magnificent Roman bridge.
The service was excellent. The breakfast, for the price, could be more varied and complete, but it was adequate.
The facilities, services, and cleanliness are what you'd expect from a Parador hotel—very good.
This is our second stay at the Paradores (the first was in Cuenca) and we are enamored with these beautiful buildings turned hotels.
The five star staff at the Parador de Salamanca is perfectionism embodied — kind, and willing to help you get the best stay possible. They helped us move from the garden side to the city side fir the best views possible. We truly appreciated it. Friendly staff make me...
We stayed here for 2 nights from 23/9/25, we prebooked half board
Paradors can be a bit hit and miss, but this one was definitely a hit for us.
It’s a modern Parador, but well designed with beautiful views over the city. Check in was simple and our room was large and well equipped, though as with most Paradors now a little dated. The weather had started to get colder so our room was an OK temperature...

Salamanca, Avenida de Lasalle, 16-20 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is more suitable; your place is quite clean.
The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, about a 20-minute walk from the city center, passing the ancient Roman bridge. The views of Salamanca's old town from outside the city are excellent. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. After exploring the city, you can easily find a restaurant for lunch and drinks in the main square, then take a taxi back to the hotel – very convenient.
Although it's an older hotel, it was cleaner than expected; the bedding and towels were spotless, and the front desk staff were exceptionally attentive, exceeding our expectations. We drove here, parked at the hotel, and walked to the old town – a very easy and pleasant experience!
Overall, my experience was positive. The facilities are well maintained and the room was comfortable. It's a property that delivers on its promise and I would recommend it for a hassle-free stay.
We stayed at this hotel by chance when we visited Salamanca. It really surprised me. The room facilities were very good, the breakfast was also good. The service staff was very friendly.
CLEAN and quiet. Walking distance to Roman bridge which is a good starting point to visit historical center. Friendly staff. Paid parking at a reasonable price. There are also free parking option on streets around the hotel. Receptionist Sara helped us with local food suggestions and places. And, there is also a free and very detailed city guide at the hotel for customers.

Salamanca, P.o de la Estacion, 1, 37004 Salamanka, Kastiliya i Leon, Ispaniya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Rooms were big and fairly clean. However lacking in a lot of amenities such as tissues (they give you a small packet with about 3 tissues!), no garbage can in room (just a tiny one in bathroom), no courtesy bottled water. The breakfast was average but only one coffee machine so there’s long line up’s.
We had a wonderful visit. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, in particular Christian Perez who was the receptionist on duty when we arrived. Despite not having booked, and they were hosting 2 different events at the time of our arrival, the reception staff managed to organise with chef to provide dinner for us.
The Hotel Alameda Palace in Salamanca is an old and very opulent hotel in the heart of the city. While most of the hotel is very beautiful and opulent, small things like door locks and lifts are not up to scratch. There are plenty of attentive staff and rooms are clean.
The Alameda Palace was a downhill, 11-minute walk from the station and, generally, offered a great location. Entering the lobby is like stepping into the Ritz Carlton: Lots of gleaming brass, deep red and black tones set the mood of an old-fashioned hotel, accented by chandeliers.
The room was astonishing: Long and stately, again picking up the regal red and black colors in the furniture and d...
A very old but renovated hotel in good location. Within walking distance to shopping area. The only less impressive was the buffet breakfast and only a few choices.
This is an Italianate inspired hotel with acres of marble and mirrors. Everywhere you look are reproductions of old masters and in each room and the hallways are pieces of reproduction furniture, chests of drawers and desks. The rooms have a LOT of mirrors , especially the bathroom which can be a little off-putting depending on your body and self esteem! The 9th floor has a terrace restaurant and...

Hotel is a little old but everything works. A 10 min walk from the Cathedral and plaza.
Parking is via a car lift next to the hotel.
Very clean, good attitude, will choose next time
The hotel environment is very comfortable and the rooms are large. It is the largest hotel I have stayed in Spain. I will stay here again next time I come to Salamanca.
The hotel is awesome, breakfast is delicious and the garage is easy to access. I highly recommend this place.
We stayed at Hotel Eurostars Las Claras recently. Having flown internationally and then driven in from Madrid, this hotel was a pleasant first night stop in Spain.
We found the hotel easily and were happy to see a stopping zone in front of the hotel which allowed us to park briefly while checking in.
Reception staff were always pleasant and informative with all our questions.
The room was clean...
a hotel located near all the tourist attractions that you can visit on foot, with friendly staff who will solve any problem you encounter, with a roomy and welcoming junior suite, a tasty breakfast and the idea of parking cars using the elevator to the garage is great and useful considering that the streets around the hotel are narrow and the parking spaces are for locals. Good job!

Our stay at Artheus Carmelita’s Salamanca was wonderful ! The hotel is very charming and inviting. The decor is eclectic with an old world charm. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast in the lovely dining room was beautifully layed out and delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Part of a group tour. Smaller charming hotel near the major attractions. Use your plate at breakfast for your breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff who don’t speak English but Google
Translate works. Lovely university town. Didn’t like the velvet headboards due to potential dust mites and the whirlpool bath didn’t work.
Very nice hotel. Great location and great service. A special mention for Mrs. Cristina. Very friendly and helpful.
The room was very clean and had a unique design.
Great Hotel, Very Clean, and central AC, which was very important in that it kept the room very comfortable during a heat wave. Everything was great at this hotel, except the bed. It was as hard as a rock. Felt like I was sleeping on a board. It's a shame, as I would give this hotel a 5-star review if it were not for the beds. Its location was also great, many restaurants to choose from all within...
Very amazing service, including housekeeping and room cleaning. Breakfast is so great, always hearty and with good music in the dining area. Location is very accessible by public transport. Close to city center but not chaotic. Very restful environment. Will highly recommend.

Salamanca, Arroyo de Santo Domingo, 3 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Great location, attentive service (room was made up twice per day), and requests quickly accommodated. All of the expected 5* amenities like robes, slippers, etc., were provided, and coffee and tea-making facilities were in the room (which is not necessarily standard in Spain). Good soundproofing. The only qualm I had was that we got two single beds without a mattress topper, which was less than ideal...
Best hotel to stay in Salamanca. Beautiful, excellent service, close to everything and it has parking
Best hotel to stay in Salamanca. Beautiful, excellent service, close to everything and it has parking
The hotel is overpriced in my opinion. Long walk to the room, pool was closed, we were not the only people asking (understand it's time of year but it was 28 degrees outside).
Couldn't get a drink when we wanted one in the afternoon as no one available and bar was shut when we got back in the evening.
Though this venerable edifice parades beneath the proud banner of five stars, I daresay that, in the realm of service, it scarcely ascends beyond a modest three. The premises themselves are undeniably singular—steeped in history and draped in architectural grace—yet they lack the comfort one might reasonably expect from such noble surroundings. To reach one’s chamber requires negotiating a most labyrinthine...

Well situated, and not far from the historic Old Town of Salamanca. Safe ,secure parking and relatively quiet at night.
Staff incredibly polite and friendly, room was a generous size for a double, ensuite had good quality toiletries and towels.
Impeccably clean and well presented .
Great value and would definitely stay here again.
Miriam at the front desk was great! Very nice and friendly. They have a parkade and the room was comfortable. Good location too
There are many restaurants nearby, but they stay open quite late, which is very convenient. There's also a supermarket and a 24-hour convenience store not far away. There's a Chinese restaurant nearby; the hygiene is so-so, but it has long opening hours.
Parking lot is less than 10 cars in total, so reservation is highly recommended (reservation required). 4 stars, good value for money, friendly. Breakfast is average. Location is good.
Good value for money
We loved our stay at the Exe Salamanca.
The hotel delivers exactly what it promises: clean and quiet rooms not too far from the city center, but far enough to be in a quiet neighbourhood.
Great welcome from reception staff. They were helpful with the parking and pointing us in the right direction.
All in all, would highly recommend for a great price/quality ratio that is hard to beat. Would come...
Although the facilities are a bit outdated, the location is very good. It is adjacent to the community park and is within walking distance of the old city. The surrounding area is quiet. A very pleasant hotel in the city center. The room and bathroom were a good size with nice decor. The breakfast was also varied and had everything you need. The hotel doesn't have parking, but there are nearby parking lots with an agreement with the hotel for a discount. When I go to Salamanca, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
Both the facilities and the rooms were perfect.
Short walk to Plaza Major. Very modern room with great bathroom. Soft pillows 😋
It is close to the ancient city, with convenient transportation and a beautiful environment.
Location was ideal. 3 blocks from heart of town. But the best were the employees. Talk about friendly, pleasant, helpful, thoughtful and wonderful people. Very attentive to every detail.
Came for a conference a few weeks ago, and this was a great home base. While they are renovating and there's dust on many surfaces, the staff is doing a great job to manage it, and our room was very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again!

This is a hotel worth recommending. 1. Warm and courteous: From the welcoming reception at the entrance to the welcome wine and different small desserts each day, and the departure gift, everything reflects the old-fashioned Spanish style. 2. One of the best hotels we've stayed in. Just 14 rooms in a beautifully decorated building just outside the city walls of this attractive city. The service was attentive and friendly. Breakfast delicious.
Just finished up a magical stay in Salamanca and Hotel Rector was superb. One of the best hotel experiences we've had, and thats saying something. We would recommend this place to anyone traveling here looki g to be pampered. Amazing staff, qauint quarters, quiet intimate setting, and good breakfast. Loved the small notes and touches/surprise gifts during turn down. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Our stay at the Hotel Rector was outstanding. Even before arrival, the hotel messaged me to ensure the temperature of our room would be to our liking. The room was OK. Quite small and dated but comfortable bed. Dinner was not what we expected. My husband ordered pork lion and parmentier potatoes... He got mash. It seemed like everyone else had the same confused look when dinner was served. I saw 3 other tables...

What not to love about this place! Everything is absolutely fantastic. Hotel itself, staff, breakfast is to die for! Hotel location absolutely perfect!
Gorgeous hotel! Peaceful, serene, clean, great location. The only thing I didn’t love was the beds. Our family room beds were really hard and not very comfortable. Everything else was impeccable!
We had a wonderful six-night stay. The hotel has a great location - short walk from the plaza but far enough way to escape the crowds. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very professional. Room was clean and had a nice desk for working. Reliable and fast internet. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Salamanca.
Stunning location in Salamanca
Outstanding. Perfect location. Professional and helpful staff.
My husband and I enjoyed a really lovely one night stay here. The hotel is a small, boutique hotel, very close to the main Salamanca attractions. It’s beautiful and our room was lovely. Staff were friendly and attentive. If I could design my own bathroom, it would be modelled on the hotel room bathroom!

Staying in such a beautiful building updated in the most beautifully designed interior, in the most beautiful town in Spain is an absolute privilege and we can't recommend it highly enough. Excellent hotel perfectly located in the centre of the old town. With easy access to all the main attractions. Secure underground car parking (21€ per day). Good sized rooms and excellent breakfast choice.
Right next to the cathedral and 1 min from the Museo of Art Nouveau (Casa Lis)! The only hotel that offer such a perfect location, very good quality/price ratio. They offered a breakfast buffet at 10.90 euros, option that we took. Was excellent and offered many choice. Highly recommended.
We stayed in the hotel for two nights while visiting our daughter who was studying in Salamanca. The location was perfect and our balcony with views of the cathedral unmatched.

I thought the breakfast could be better, given the price of the room and the price charged for breakfast at the hotel.
It's hardly fair that it's rated 4 stars; it's more like 3, and that's a fair assessment. I don't understand how such an old hotel with no amenities can have such a high rating. The spring beds are awful; sleeping there is horrible.
The reception was very pleasant and helpful.
Lovely hotel in a fantastic location, yes some of the décor might be a little dated but that adds to the charm, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and the secure car park for 11 euros was great as i was on a motorcycle, I stayed in air BNB 2 months ago which cost 300 euros a night and was not a touch on this hotel. So excellent value for money and the breakfast was typical for this region.
Easy parking. Very close to the city center and the hospital. The rooms are great.
For a 4-star hotel, you can expect a lot more. I've stayed in much better 3-star hotels.

Located 15 minutes walk from the city center, the very quiet hotel with old-fashioned charm is a good address. The room is very large, the bed kingsize, beautiful bathroom. Property is well located, but the rooms are small and amenities very limited. No view out the windows. Just a place to sleep, not much more

Genuinely friendly and very helpful staff. Room ready early. Bed very comfortable and great bathroom. Complimentary bottle of water and a jar of sweets for Dias del muerto plus a chocolate next to the pillow. Town map supplied and suggested places to visit. Breakfast was extremely good - very fresh and a great variety offered. It was also quiet at night.
Perfect location in the centre of old town. Room is quiet. We slept very well. Bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is good. It’s include omelette, yogurt, fresh orange juice, cakes, toasts, jamon, cheese, corn flakes. Highly recommend for 1 night in Salamanca.
The hotel is clean and very centrally located, just steps from the main tourist attractions in the city center. The breakfast is varied and of good quality. The staff is friendly. However, the poor soundproofing of the rooms made it difficult for us to sleep one of the two nights we were there, as we could hear the noise from the street and neighboring rooms.
Please be careful when entering the parking lot if you have wet hands.
Excellent hotel, very well located. The only issue was the room's soundproofing, which wasn't ideal; we were disturbed by a guest in a neighboring room during the first night. The staff were cooperative and tried to find a solution. However, the hotel was full, so we ended up using earplugs.
