Nuwara Eliya is a beautiful place to visit in Sri Lanka. It has an English touch. Very high above the sea level. Carry a jacket.

beautifully located in Nuwara Eliya, The 'Small England' of Sri Lanka. This is a warm & a safe place for anyone who travels to Nuwara Eliya. Great service, awesome food, breath taking views, feel the ambiance of the nature's miracles.

Good hotel reasonable breakfast. Hard working staff. Efficient booking. Only issue is if the room heater is not located on top of the bed you will be in trouble like in room 203. These small heaters cannot make the whole room warm. Just the few cubic feet around the heater.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Our overall stay was good but I feel overpriced considering the lack of views and slightly shabby appearance. Still, we had a nice stay as a family, playing card games in the lobby lounge. The lunch was excellent but not so great in the evening... Apparently the chef was off sick.

Horel is good, good and helping staff but bathrooms are not spacious nor so clean and the worst thing is that the menu has not so much variety and they can't make a food for one person especially rice.The food is so costly too.
