This is really healing. It is one of my favorite hotels during my trip to Sri Lanka. The service is great. Because I checked in during the Spring Festival, the hotel staff said "Happy New Year" from check-in to breakfast the next day. British style hotel, good environment, comfortable bedding, I will stay here next time

The historical buildings are distinctive, the public spaces are diverse and rich, the gardens are carefully maintained and exquisite, and you can check in for the Queen's English afternoon tea... The Thai and Indian food in the hotel are pretty good

Although the hotel is old, the service and hygiene are very good

The room was very nice. It had an old-school British feel. There were enough facilities nearby. There were many restaurants to eat at. The Thai food was pretty good. The breakfast was pretty good too. But the dinner was just average.

The environment is great! Very British hotel. Many politicians and celebrities from all over the world stay here. The swimming pool is very good! The Thai restaurant is very good! The service attitude is good! There are beautiful gardens and huge trees around!

Excellent and very well maintained property. The service is very prompt and staff is extremely courteous. Special call out to Mr. Kalindu Perera and Mr Netto who have been very supportive of our food demands given the taste preferences with kids and senior citizens. Overall I loved my stay here and would strongly recommend this hotel.

Yes, it was good, the hotel is in the center that you can easily reach all the near locations in the city or get transportation to reach the far places.. also what made our stay wonderful was Chathu a nice smiling responsible lady who received us at open buffet restaurant area ... I really thank her too much.

Very pleasant place. But they have to fix their online booking platform. Our booking details not updated to the hotel properly so we waited more than one hour In the lobby to get occupied. All our room requirements were full filled.

The stay at Araliya Green Hills was awesome. Really impressed with the cleanliness and the service. View towards unique view side was amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful, which made our stay a comfortable one. They had average food variety and If they can improve more on their F & B that will help them to attract more guests towards them.

Wonderful place We stayed here for 3 days with our parents and in laws. They provided a great service. Staff and Management looked after us beyond our expectations. Food was fab. Food and beverage service staffs are the best here. A little bit of communication gap is there in rooms division but I have already reported and am sure they will work on it. We had a very great stay at Blackpool hotel, all the staff were very friendly and treated us in an extremely gentle way. The food was delicious and they served different varieties. The room was beautiful with a fantastic view. Highly recommend ⭐️☺️.

We got the Devon room for our honeymoon. The team had setup the room and the bed for our arrival. There are candles in the room to enjoy a candle light experience. Beautifully located up the hill with amazing views and spacious green yard

An awesomely maintained property away from the city hustle bustle at the foot of a hill. They have both personal indoor and outdoor Jacuzzi. We took a dip in the outdoor Jacuzzi on a full moon night, which was heavenly. They lit the fireplace at night. SERENITY at it's best. The food quality can be improved.

Disappointed with our stay here considering it was rated so highly. Given a room that faced a tin shed with garbage strewn with people living and working there. At dinner ordered fish that was served to the wrong table of guests who were all vegetarians! Was given a replacement after 10 minutes. We came in the middle of the night to this hotel the service staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious however the position size was bit small. The view from the hotel was very nice. We stayed there for 2 nights. 1st night we had to stay in a small room as we didn't make a reservation. second day we asked them to give us 2 rooms upstairs with a view and they delivered it without any questions...

This is located a bit away from the main city of Nuwara Eliya. The view from the hotel is serene. The environment is peaceful. The place has a very cozy feel with excellent service. The staff are very courteous but one might face a bit of communication problem. This 4 star hotel is worth every penny one spends to stay here.

A neat 5 stars for the hospitality and food. Clean and nice rooms with excellent view. We were a big group, we occupied a whole cottage. There were no complaints even if we wanted to. They arranged food to our preference and in our cottage itself to our convenience. A huge spread it was. Enjoyed every minute of the stay. Close to the city, so not much of travel . Located in a nice place the hotel requires a TLC urgently. Pillows are stained and covered with mould. Everything including the bedding needs to be replaced. No dustbin in the room and many light bulbs weren't working. One of our rooms also had a broken door lock!. Bathroom however is very clean and has a good reliable supply of hotwater. Awesome stay. Rooms were very nice and newly renovated. Very spacious. Views from hotel were beautiful. We were also happy with the location. Delicious food from the restaurant. Owner was very kind - he gave us a lift to and from the train station, helped us with things to do in Nuwara Eliya and gave us some local drinks to try :) Overall great stay

What a lovely place! A visit in this house feels like you are visiting your old rich British grand ma. The staff is so friendly and serves you tea while you are waiting for your room. The room itself feels more like an apartment as a hotel room. The furniture is in colonial style and there are maximum 3-4 our guests with you in the building. It was too cold outside, but I’m sure this is a cozy place...

WiFi didn't work in the room, only in the lobby and dining area. Food was quite nice, lovely rooms. The beds were amazing. Probably the best beds I've slept in. Perfect pillows and bedsheets. If you need a good sleep, this is a great hotel.

This was one of the best hotels I have EVER stayed in. Small (7 rooms) boutique hotel with classic style. Incredible service, prompt, personal. I would recommend this hotel very highly.

A good location if you have a car with the tea estates and lake in proximity. Good light if somewhat cold rooms that need a little maintenance from mould due to the climate. Basic breakfast included and overall excellent value. Limited English from staff.

Stayed two nights at Pensive and had a wonderful time. Its a convenient 3km away from the Nuwera Eliya town and offers a calm environment for holiday. Owing to the pleasant hosts, Mr. Rajitha and Mrs. Pumi, the villa had a homely feeling with the luxuries of a well run hotel. The meals were always warmed and had the taste of home cooked food . We stayed 3days here and the place is very clean and well maintained than expected with nice garden. Located 1.5km away from town center and 5mins away from Lake Gregory. Room was cute and cozy and perfectly fine for the price. Wi-Fi worked perfectly and the hot shower was a big plus. Unfortunately the staff doesn't speak and understand English very well, which made communication difficult. The service at the restaurant was very slow and we didn't get what we ordered twice.
