Hotels in Falun

Ok rooms but needs some TLC. Very good breakfast and very good service both in reception and breakfast. Asked for no cleaning, but room was cleaned one of three days anyway.

I stayed here for the duration of the Sabaton Open Air, and the hotel was booked full. The location isn't too far away, about 35 minutes of walking, and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. There's a high fee for smoking, so be sure not to smoke inside the building. In our room there was a coffee machine and free coffee which is very nice. I enjoyed my stay here.

Very clean room with a comfortable bed. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel location was central and close to the train station The only thing that wasnt 5 out of 5 stars was breakfast buffet. Food selection was a bit lacking compared to competitor hotels in the same price range.

Centrally located in Falun. Great breakfast! Lots of shops nearby and tourist help across the street.

Nice hotel. We got a suite for 4 with a king size bed and sofa bed. It was clean and spacious enough. Large bathroom with bathtub and shower. Nothing fancy but all the necessary was there, including kettle with tea and instant coffee, hair dryer, ironing board, TV with USB or HDMI input for PC or portables. We liked the small internal pool and the sauna. The breakfast buffet was really good and varied...

The staff were not only friendly as usual, as I have experienced in all Scandic hotels so far, but the best staff ever! And I really mean the BEST of all the hotels I've ever been to! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, always trying to find solutions... no matter if reception, restaurant, housekeeping... simply everyone! They deserve the maximum number of stars. Unfortunately, only the hotel itself...

Ok. Seems to be clean. Twelve floors and only two elevators! Room had hair dryer next to the desk, iron and ironing board, but no mini fridge. There was no electric outlet in the bathroom--the only place with bright light. Had to curl my hair at the desk, where the light was dim. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, despite the relatively small size, the beds however were nothing to write home about, they felt cheap and didn't make for a very good nights sleep. The hotel itself is close to pretty much everything, and the rooms on the higher levels give a great view of the city around it

Very friendly hotel personnel, clean big rooms with nice views, very good new year eve's menu and excellent breakfast. If you have a Scandic Friend membership tell so at the restaurant to get your discount. They won't ask you unnecessarily.

Most of the time, everything was good during our stay. What prevents the visit from generating the highest rating is that the food on Thursday evening 2025-02-06 was not hot and that the TV in the room had an annoying flickering picture.

I love the inclusion of amazing breakfast and dinner. It makes this lovely property that used to be the Systembolaget just perfect.

På hotellet var alla trevliga och allt annat var prima. Några till lasagneplattor för i den vegetariska lasagnen så hade det blivit *****!

Average hotel . Exterior not so good, but most importantly room large and good. Big comfy beds, nice bathroom. Outside, you could hear the standard cruising cars going round and round in the evening playing music. Quite cute actually. A bit of a smell from the pillows. Breakfast surprisingly good for a small sized hotel. The hotel claims to be open until 2100 but was closed when we arrived before that...

Had a pleasant stay, was quite busy so didn't get to take room pictures. I would definitely recommend it good value for money.

Clean and pretty, very friendly staff!! Has everything you need, good location and reasonably pricing. Parking knicks 1 star off, though you can get a spot outfront for a small fee. Other than that, excellent stay. Quiet rooms.

Nice staff, accidently didn't book and the staff helped me get a booking after 21. The room had everything you needed. The breakfast had most of the standard dishes thst you would expect from a good hotel breakfast. Coffee machine thst could make a cappuccino was and extra plus. ☕😉 Rooms were quiet, no noise from other people, steps or insulation sounds. My only complaint is that the TV in my room...

Such view such place... I love främby udde and everything it have to offer. The food was really tasty, maybe on the expensive side, but worth it. We rented an double kajac and got such an amazing and nice service. The nature and environment is lovely!

We stayed just for a day and rented a canoe for a trip on the lake. It was fantastic. The price was very good, very friendly personnel that we're all fluent in English. The service and contact was very, very good. We asked for some additional items for the trip and it was no problem and free of charge. Contact before via eMail was very good and the answers came really quick. We just can recommend...

We booked 2 days at the RV parking area and prolonged our visit with two additional days. The RV area is great. Large spots, fresh showers and toilets, emptying of trash, gray and black water and fresh water refill. Small Beach and water equipment rental, restaurant and small shop at the reception (nothing useful though). Great weather, great swimming, great stay! Warmly recommended.

Beautiful location but as it's off season the restraunt/reception closes very early. Not the usual business trip location but a very welcome change to the norm.
