Old Town Stay Hotel in Stockholm

I travel often, and I have never encountered a hotel as shockingly bad as this one. Please read this before booking, because I wish someone had warned me. The room was uninhabitable. The hotel advertised that the room included a fan, which is essential in the heat—but there was no fan at all, and the room was unbearably hot. When I contacted the hotel for help, there was no staff on-site and no front desk. The only way to reach anyone was through WhatsApp, and even then the person refused to provide assistance. Their suggestion? They told me to “look for a fan somewhere in the hotel.” I was forced to wander floor to floor, opening dirty utility closets in the middle of the night looking for a fan that did not exist. Truly freaking unbelievable. The entire property was in disgusting condition with dirty towels piled in hallways, filthy, unmaintained corridors and a general feeling that the place is unclean, unsafe, and neglected If you’re expecting even basic cleanliness, you will be very disappointed. Plus, NO SERVICE whatsoever. There was zero on-site staff during the night, no reception, and no one available to help with anything. After all of these issues, the hotel’s response was to offer a 30% refund, as if that somehow compensates for a sleepless, miserable night in an uninhabitable room with nonexistent service and disgusting conditions. It doesn’t even come close. Bottom line: Avoid this place at all costs. This hotel is unsafe, unsanitary, and unprofessional, and it fails to provide even the most basic standards of accommodation. I would strongly urge anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere. There are far better—and cleaner—options available.

My familys' stay at this location was simply awful. The room was extremely dirty and unhygienic at our arrival. I notified about this, but nothing was done to correct this except apollogised. Also the room was so cold and we were freezing there the both nights. Help was not provided to fix this either. The location was good, but I can not recommend this place to anyone. This business also chooses not to correct issues while your stay, neither reply to your feedback send about this terrible stay.

I had booked for many people, Corona came in between, we could not travel, Old Town Stay Hotel still took the money!! despite requests ＞ dishonest, greedy, without character, I will not look at the hotel again
